Rescheduled Saturday 30th May,
Filter coffee packed a bag, left home, and took over Practically Sobar. ☕️🚕

Flavour really is its own language. There are these specific moments when you experience such joy from a pairing that has no business working, and yet, it does.

I’ve had cocktails in aspirational, dimly lit “list” bars where every element is deeply considered, and some in spots you only hear about because someone told someone who told someone. It’s not necessarily that one is better than the other, and sometimes the most interesting drinks come from the most unexpected places, but what I keep coming back to is flavour as a feeling.

I don’t remember every ingredient that went into these drinks, but that doesn’t really matter because the moments around them have kind of stuck around.

World Cocktail Day felt like a good enough reason to rant about this, and share an unnecessary number of pictures from my camera roll 🥂 by @sahanasomewhere
