Last year, we journeyed through so much together. From art and music to hydroponic gardening and hands-on learning in and beyond the classroom.

So what memories will we create this year? What will we learn and experience? What will we plant, nurture, and watch grow? 🌱

We’re excited for the adventures we’ll take, the lessons we’ll share, and the ways our students will continue to discover their gifts. This is the joy of learning together, and why we can’t wait for all that’s ahead. Happy New Year 🤍 by @salamaserves

The start of a new year reminds us that growth takes time, community, and care. With each new opportunity, we remain committed to supporting our students and strengthening the community around them. We can’t wait to see how this year shapes their stories and futures. 🤍✨ 🎉

Merry Christmas Eve. 🤍🎄✨
This season has been filled with moments that remind us what the holidays are all about. From supporting our Salama students as they shared their talents at Christmas concerts and holiday events, to the generosity of Adapt Health through Angel Tree gifts, to watching our students shop for their loved ones at the Salama Store with the help of volunteers from NEW Counseling PLLC.

These moments of love, generosity, and community are why the holiday season is one of our favorite times of the year. by @salamaserves

Help us celebrate the impact of Salama in 2025. 🤍
This year, arts programming continued to grow, students demonstrated strong attendance and academic progress in math and literacy, and more than 6000 meals were served. Beyond the classroom, 75% of students chose to engage in our Social Emotional Learning tools, building confidence and learning healthy ways to self-regulate.

Each number represents a student, a family, and a future shaped with care. Salama is truly a testament to what can happen when people come together, united by purpose. Thank you to all the hearts and hands that have helped build Salama.

Giving Tuesday reminds us that generosity can shape futures. For forty years, Salama has done meaningful work and strengthened our community. As we close out the year, take a moment to hear from CEO Dawana Wade, along with the parents and students who reflect on the heart of Salama. Here, students are supported in their academics, nourished with daily meals, encouraged to explore the arts, and guided through social-emotional learning that helps them grow inside and out. 🤍
