Housing assistance for Davidson County residents is on the way! 🏡 The @titans, through their Home Field Advantage Catalyst Fund, have donated $250,000 to the @metroactioncommission (MAC) to help launch Davidson County’s Emergency Winter Housing Assistance Program (EWHAP). This program will provide critical support to residents unable to cover their housing payments due to hardships caused by Winter Storm Fern.   MAC will work closely with the city’s emergency response partners to ensure residents receive help quickly and in a coordinated manner. The program is expected to launch by Thursday, February 5.   Applicants must reside in Davidson County, have been impacted by Winter Storm Fern and meet income eligibility requirements. Complete details of eligibility and how to apply will be available on the MAC website (www.nashville.gov/mac) beginning this Thursday. #metrocouncilnash #district17nashville #localgovernment #rentalassistance #winterstormfern

✨ Big News for B.E. Academy! ✨ We’re thrilled to share that B.E. Academy has a new home—and a powerful new partnership with Salama Urban Ministries, a trusted Nashville community pillar for over 30 years. Salama, meaning peace in Swahili, has been helping youth thrive through exceptional programs in academics, performing arts, and spiritual growth. This partnership is extra special because both of our organizations are led by Black women committed to educating and empowering the next generation. As B.E. Academy has more than doubled in size this year, our new space gives our girls more room to learn, grow, and belong. Located in the Edgehill community, our girls now have access to a park, community center, music school, and more—plus a built-in afterschool program perfectly aligned with our mission. 🌟 A heartfelt thank you to Dawana Wade, Shavicka Newsom, and the entire Salama team for believing in our vision. Together, we’re breaking barriers, building sisterhood, and shaping bright futures. 👑
