You can’t talk your way out of something you behaved your way into.

As true in life as it is in leadership.

Actions will always speak louder than words.

If we’ve made mistakes, it’s not enough to explain them away.

We can craft the most eloquent apology in the world, but if our behaviour doesn’t change it means nada.

Or worse. It destroys trust and relationships.

Because Integrity and accountability is everything.

I’ve never met a great leader who lacked integrity.

Because Integrity isn’t just a nice to have

It’s a must have if you want to be a great leader.

It’s about:
-Addressing & calling out toxic behavior
-Aligning your actions with your values
-Choosing courage over comfort
-Doing what you say you’ll do
-Staying true to your word
-Having skin in the game
-Walking the talk

And While it’s true that you you need more than integrity to lead

you can’t be a great leader without it.

If you are brave. Courageous. Creative.

If you put yourself and your work out there.

You’re going to get your arse kicked.

There will always be critics sitting in the cheap seats who aren’t willing to step into the arena themselves.

Be selective about the feedback you take on board

If they’re not getting their arse kicked also - meh.
