Pinch me - how is this real!

Last week, LACEVO was named Best Small Independent Retailer at the 2026 @auspost ORIAS (@onlineretailer awards) - recognition from an industry that doesn’t hand out trophies lightly.

Just over 2 years ago when LACEVO launched to market, this was one mother refusing to accept “that’s just how pumping is.” Last week, it became an award for building something that actually solves the problem.

To every mother who’s trusted LACEVO with her breastfeeding journey, and to the team who made this possible - this one’s for you. We are so grateful for you all.

LACEVO and I have taken home double GOLD at the 2026 Women Changing the World Global Awards in Paris!

When I broke down in tears after another failed pump session, just two weeks after having my second baby, I never imagined that moment would lead here. I just knew that mothers deserved better, so I got to work.

Every single design decision in the development of the LACEVO S70 was shaped by real mothers, real feedback, and real experiences, including my own. And that’s what these awards represent to me - not just what I built, but every mother who trusted us with their breastfeeding journey and helped us make it better.

To every mother who has chosen LACEVO, shared her story, or cheered us on from the beginning, this win is yours too.

They say to surround yourself with people who inspire you. Honestly I am still buzzing from the infectious positive and empowering energy from the women I met at the @ausmumpreneur conference & awards gala. They are all truly doing motherhood their way - each with their own stories of resilience and the never-ending juggle, just like all of you in our growing community.

Tonight I’ve taken a rare moment to reflect on my journey. I’ll never forget going back to work as a breastfeeding Mum just 2 weeks after having my second baby, and the frustration I felt at not being able to find a pump that was powerful, efficient or comfortable enough. It left me feeling depleted, frustrated and actually very alone.

There had to be a better, more empowering way for mums to navigate work and breastfeeding, without having to compromise.

I set out to innovate something better: a hands free, wearable breast pump that prioritises comfort, discretion, flexibility and is inclusive to Mamas everywhere, with all different types of breast anatomy.

LACEVO was born and we have completely disrupted the market!

Never would I have imagined launching so quickly into iconic Australian retailers like @baby.bunting and @fromthememo , into @babyonthemovenz in New Zealand, and - most recently - into @target across the US.

Last week we became the first and only wearable breast pump endorsed by the ABA @ozbreastfeeding and now to receive THREE AusMumpreneur Awards is just the icing on the cake! I’m so honoured!

Two weeks after having her second baby, Sally Grice sat in an important work meeting with one boob rock hard and engorged because her pump had failed her that morning. By the time the meeting ended, she was in agony. She ran to her office and broke down crying. Then she decided to build the pump herself.

@sallygrice is the founder of LACEVO, and the pump she built is the one I have used almost every day for the last two years. Including through chemo.

I used to make the @gcbulletin for winning world championships & representing Australia in wakeboarding & waterskiing, doing daring stunts jumping off 10m towers then barefooting waterskiing at high speed and climbing human pyramids on water at SeaWorld….. now I’m making it for @lacevoofficial’s world first innovation ….. who would have thought?! Certainly not me, just proves that anything is possible if you are dedicated, focused and passionate enough. It’s so rewarding how many lives and journeys you can truly make a meaningful difference in if you are 100% committed and never give up, something that professional sport definitely taught me. #gcbulletin #lacevo #worldfirstinnovation by @sallygrice
