Proof that it takes a village. My phone randomly put this memory montage together from an album. I added @resistancerevivalchorus and @devamahal’s “Everybody Deserves to be Free.” It’s my favorite song on our album, “This Joy,” and well, it fits in more ways than one. MKW is watching over all of us. Thank you for bringing us together. We miss you. ❤️✨🙏🏻 by @sallyrumble

It’s hard to know where to start, $10k bounties has some George Orwell on it doesn’t it? There’s so much to say about this classist, racist, and incredibly cruel and dangerous bill but today I’m letting the performance art of @chocolatinaruiz speak via a new illustration. Viva Ruiz conceived the project @thankgodforabortion a few years back in an effort to destigmatize abortion, and it has been provoking a lot of visceral reactions and discussion ever since. If you’re religious, Viva says you can have God AND abortion in your life. What are your thoughts?

Back in April, I was lucky to be found by @a.rosie.day, a Wonder Woman who started her art studio for kids during Covid at McCarren Park with nothing but a cart! Fast forward to June and @kchowstudios helped me paint a mural to replace her sidewalk A-frame sign at Rosie’s now STUDIO in Williamsburg. It was a busy summer and I’m SO pleased with this guy. Finally got to see it installed yesterday. Thank you for the pics @arseniogarcia. Commissioned by @bcamhs for their 20th anniversary, in collaboration with senior art students who I led through a brainstorm to help inform the design before they graduated. Big shout out to the seniors who helped paint on day 1 and to the summer school kids who helped out on day 2,3,4….32. 🤗😁
Photos REALLY dont do this one justice. He’s impressive and I hope the students, staff and neighborhood are enjoying.

Finally thank you to @nycmuralarts for the install. Beautiful work. taken in Brooklyn Community Arts and Media High School -BCAM by @sallyrumble

Hi hi! Do I have any impulsive friends who wanna join me in Maine this weekend? I’m alone at a summer camp painting a bus for summer 2027. I offer nature galore, heated cabin and lake views for days. DM For more details. 🤗 🚍 🎨 by @sallyrumble

Can you please take a moment to read and share this post?

Kirby and Heirloom are the perfect pair, yet they haven’t received any adoption applications.

Kirby is a total mush and lap cat, while Heirloom wants to be near you, but is more independent.
They have distinct personalities that make getting to know them, so much fun!

Their friendship has totally blossomed in their foster home with @sallyrumble and it’s baffling that no one within driving distance of NYC has scooped them up.

Heirloom lived in a warehouse and survived a fire, while Kirby was left on the street to fend for himself.

They are young! Between 1 and 2 years old, negative for FIV and FeLV, and of course neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Please share to your stories or grid. These boys deserve the best! And adopting them also frees up a foster home so that I can rescue more cats! taken in Brooklyn, New York by @sallyrumble

Thanks, British voice-over AI guy-bot.

I’m small but mighty and FINALLY catching up on posting some of this summer’s projects. It’s been real busy over here and there’s a lot more to come (and DO!)… just as soon as I stop procrastinating making these videos.

Also, I’m pretty sure posting twice in one day is against the Instagram constitution, but I’m a rule breaker 🥴 AND clients do, in fact, like to see that you’re still alive and creating work. So here we are. 👋🏻

This mural came out of my partnership with @stokedorg and @bronxlabschool. After 4 weeks of after-school sessions in April/May, some of the students and I teamed up to paint this little diddy while the rest of the crew was upstairs skating in the cafeteria.

Yes. You read that right.
Skating. In. The. Cafeteria. IYKYK.
It was a whole vibe.

This was my FIRST high school mural AND first time partnering with @stokedorg but my relationship with cofounder @stevelaros goes way way back to the 10 Jay St days, so naturally I was excited from the jump.

We had a pretty limited number of hours to get this thing painted, but I was really happy with what we pulled off. Even better, I got to spend four weeks hanging with a bunch of brilliant, funny, creative young people from all over the world nurtured by @constantlythankful (solid thank you for holding my hand too.)

ART, good humans, Bronx energy. I’ll take it. Thank you to everyone involved! ❤️ taken in Bronx Lab School by @sallyrumble
