July 13, at 5:03 pm, you made me a Mama all over again & somehow, in just a year, you’ve filled our lives with enough love, laughter, chaos, tears, and magic to last a lifetime. You didn’t just grow our family; you grew our hearts in ways we never imagined.

Your first year was a collection of a thousand little miracles. We watched you discover the world one milestone at a time—your first smile, your first laugh, first coo & babble, first clap of those tiny cute hands, the way those big sparkling eyes lit up when you recognized us, the first time you rolled over, your determined little belly cruises across the floor, pulling yourself up to stand as if nothing could stop you, your first tooth, your first taste of solids, your dramatic little expressions, first day of daycare, and every tiny victory that filled our hearts with gratitude.

You are equal parts sweet and spicy. Stubborn, fearless, cuddly only when you decide, and already full of the biggest personality. A true little Cancer girl with the softest heart and the strongest will. You have your daddy wrapped around your tiny fingers and your big brother is absolutely obsessed with you. Watching the two of you together has been one of the greatest gifts of life.

This past year wasn’t perfect. There were moments of worry, exhaustion, mom guilt, and wondering if I was doing enough. But every time you looked at me, smiled, reached for me, or rested your little head on my shoulder, you answered every question I never had to ask.

Thank you for choosing us. Thank you for making me your mama. Thank you for making our little family complete. You will always be my little girl and my built-in-bestie!
Here’s to your First chapter… and to the countless beautiful pages still waiting to be written in the future.
