DIY floral 80cm Ganesha Decor for under $17 made with crepe paper 🌸

What you need from @kmartaus :
- Party streamers 80metres (approx 4-5 rolls): $6
- old packaging cardboard: free (can use foam board)
- hot glue gun + extra sticks : $11

Rolling the roses can be time consuming so make sure you put on a show or podcast. 😄Alternatively you can buy bulk foam roses from eBay.

🌸Steps🌸
1) Find a shape of Ganesha that you like from other examples on Google and draw onto your cardboard. Cut out the shape with a box cutter. Doesn’t have to super accurate as the flowers will hide any rough corners.

2) Cut streamers into strips of roughly 40cm and roll as shown. It might be difficult at first but trust me you will get the hang of it.

3) Make some smaller roses to use as fillers (from 25-30 cm strips)

4) Glue roses on starting at the centre of the cardboard. Do a bit of a zig zag pattern so it doesn’t leave too many gaps. ‘ , ‘ , ‘

5) Push them into to place so they stick properly with a pencil through the centre. You can use it to shape them too.

6) Fill the empty spaces with smaller 🌸

ALL DONE

Let me know if you do try this ⬇️
