so, it turns out the experience of meeting smriti is pretty universal; you see her, immediately think she’s the coolest person you’ve ever met, and then figure out how to be in her orbit. over the last few days, i was in rooms full of all of these people - rooms that radiated love and laughter from every corner :)

i’ve always loved structure — rules, checklists, a sense of direction. it’s comforting to know what earns approval, what makes people proud. but it’s also so exhausting. you can follow every rule and still never arrive or feel like you're enough

living from the inside out is harder — quieter, less certain. but, i’m learning to trust that it only needs to make sense to me :)
