This one means so much to me!!! Thank you @fourcornersmainstreets for honoring Salvaged Roots with the Community Impact Award.

Through our time here in 4 Corners I have grown to love to advocate and champion for this neighborhood because the people in this area deserve it!! It’s just as important that the energy and love we provide inside the salon extends beyond our doors, so that means showing up and supporting the community far past the business. I attend the meetings, we go on the safety walks, we have regular conversations with our local CSO and Elected officials because we understand that we are all in this together. AND that sometimes you have to remind people that you matter!

“Catch my work outside, how about that?!” 😜 One of my biggest joys is seeing my clients outside with their fabulous hair! This beauty told me she was ALSO volunteering for the 741 Farewell Frequency Fest and I had to take the MOMENT for this gorgeous style! This was days after I did her hair, and as you can see it is still beautiful! I strive for longevity, health, and growth, with each appointment. This is my why! Y’all are so dope!
