After my recent exhibition, many of my landscapes went to new homes, which meant my library wall needed some new ones.

I wasn't sure I could paint my landscapes anymore, there was a whole year where not one that I painted came out good enough to share. But I'm happy with these two. There are for sale if anyone is keen.

If you'd told me 20 years ago that I'd do things like this I would have said, no, that can't be right. I've competed at Surf lifesaving Aussies on the Gold Coast over the last couple of days, in big scary surf and lived to tell the tale. 44 year old me is much braver than I'd have thought possible. by @sam_verricharmed

I didn't know if I could paint mountains anymore. They came from a certain time, and I had tried since but they wouldn't come.... turns out I can, and I can do them big.

Doing a scary thing this month and having my first ever exhibition. Opening night is this Friday night at @foolsburger and then continuing through the month at it's day time counter part @seafaringfools , a great excuse for some yummy food and an excellent coffee!

The colour study mountains all represent the daily climb, potentially to nowhere, but always an up hill battle, knowing that view at the top is going to be spectacular but there are so many hurdles to over come first.

The Blooms, well, they are just my Blooms. They bring me joy. They make me think of the more simple times.

Anyway, come see, I'll be there Friday night. I'll be nervous, but I'll be a bit proud too. by @sam_verricharmed
