Destiny 💅 made it to Cape Town and has been spawning some offspring. She loves the sea air 🫄

What’s your favourite part of the bread-making process to watch?

NOBODY PANIC but Destiny had her first child 🤲

firstly, massive shout out to @si_smit for the recipe and guidance - it’s fun to learn from an experienced human rather than the internet 🫶

second, there’s a gap in filming because i panicked (i know i said don’t panic) and thought it would be a moerse flop mid-way and i didn’t want to fail (what control issues?) but there was some biblical grade resurrection in the oven. shout out to chemistry.

third, Destiny has since had her second child, and it’s even better than the first. it be like that some times, #firstborns am i rite?

much learning has occurred! might be obsessed! bread is life!

@michelle_ohle sent me the first photo recently and i had to put these together because c’mon 🥹😭 we haven’t been very successful with the whole ‘living on the same continent at the same time’ thing over the last few years but lord knows we’re in it for the long haul x

the last few weeks have been wild - moved through them dissociated & numb but eternally grateful for the people & places that ground me. still haven’t processed this big move & don’t think i will for a while, but when home is your people, & @jaredpaisley is your people, home is anywhere in the world. already missing my other homes but excited & grateful for this new chapter x taken in Cape Town, Western Cape by @samannelawson

GravelSam™️ made an appearance last night 💥 she loves to bail down jeep tracks. she shows up every few months & reminds me to slow down (mostly mentally but also physically). fun places i found gravel after this belly flop:

1. under the skin on my palms
2. inside my bellybutton
3. under my watch strap
4. in the creases of my neck

all is well and these things heal. but it’s always a lesson in being present 😗 shout out sissy for the pic & making sure i was okay x taken in Cape Town, Western Cape by @samannelawson
