I’m gonna be honest now. Sales in my shop have been basically none existent recently and it’s tough to keep backing yourself when times are like that. But I know I have others rooting for me and I’ll always root for others, so hopefully I’ll be over their dry patch soon.

Mushrooms are abound at the moment! We went on a mushroom hunt when we were in Wales last week, and it was amazing how many you could spot once you slowed down and really took in what was around you. It was a brilliant mindful activity and @beardedoutdoors got some terrific photos of them!

We’re heading to the New Forest. We’ve not been since 2021 and we’ve been reminiscing today.

The Long Walk at Kedleston Hall is the perfect place to escape the sun and relax in the woodland shade. With views across the Derbyshire Hills with wildflowers at your feet it’s simply beautiful.

Two years ago we set out on our Ride for Forest. Raising money for @tommys we cycled from Nottingham to Amsterdam in memory of our son Forest. It turned out to be an epic ride with scary crashes, massive rainstorms, exploding rear derailleurs, overnight ferries, ant attacks, noodles, vending machine coffee, stolen spoons, newspapers in shoes and giant Miffy statues. Some amazing memories made during what was a dark time for us both.
We raised a chunk of money for an amazing charity which was made possible by those who rode with us and a stellar team back at home helping us.

And now he’s 1!!! How did that happen?! I can’t believe our baby is becoming a toddler. Feeling very emotional!
He is such an amazing soul. So smiley and sociable, with the best range of faces and noises. I can’t wait to see more of his personality to come through, though we can already tell he is curious, determined and loves animals. Happy Birthday Emrys, We love you so so much 🧡 by @samanthaeynon

2016 was a fun year. Loving this trend of looking back. This hike was so tough as we climbed a few mountains in a day, got lost in the mist but the clouds parted for brief periods and we got amazing views.
