Despite all the doom and gloom out there, we’re moving forward. The Gold Coast now has one of the highest rents in Australia. Locals are paying more to rent than people in Sydney, while investors from all over the country buy into their city. That’s the part that gets us. I grew up in housing commission. I know what it feels like to look at property prices and think it’s not for people like you. But here’s what most people don’t realise: you don’t have to invest where you live. You don’t need a million dollars and a Broadbeach postcode. There are growth corridors across Australia at a fraction of that price. The biggest barrier isn’t money, it’s not knowing your options. We did it in Sydney. We did it in Melbourne. Now we’re doing it on the Gold Coast, and the mission is an office in every capital city. At the end of the day, it’s all about family. That’s it for me.
