Since the first time I visited The Coliseum in Rome I dreamed about doing a show there. Last night my dreams came true when we played the Arena di Verona which was built in 30AD! Thank you to @thelumineers and especially to @wesleyschultz and @jeremiahfraites for bringing me along. Just wrapped up a solo vacation to Florianopolis. Thank you for your 40+ beautiful beaches, pillowy gnocchi, hikeable waterfalls, oceanside acai, the dude selling knives on the beach, delicious sushi and breathtaking sunsets. I don’t have the perfect words — I just know that life with you is something I don’t take for granted. Not for a single day.
We’ve both grown a lot this year. Individually, together, through all of it. We’re not perfect — but what we have is real, and it’s ours, and I’m proud of that.
We’ve got a song — Kiss of Life — and every time it comes on, it just fits. The kind of love that doesn’t make a big entrance, it just holds you. That’s you. That’s what you do for me.

I find myself incredibly lucky to have visited India for my third time. It is not lost on me that most people never even get there. But here I am enjoying the craziness, chaos and beauty of this country. And this time I got to enjoy it with my dear friends who happened to be here at the same time we popped in on tour. Thank you to India for bringing us back together. My whole childhood I would walk into souvenir shops hoping that this time would be different, my name would be on something.
