Some weddings stay with you. This is D+A.

This one was long awaited, and somehow, it was even more special than we imagined. An intimate black-tie celebration, a lawyer marrying a doctor, surrounded by an incredible team and so much love.

And the Museum of Anthropology… what a place to celebrate! It has been a minute since I last shot there! There’s something powerful about being there, on these lands, surrounded by the art and stories.

Some weddings stay with you long before they ever happen.

I had been looking forward to this day ever since our very first Zoom call. From the beginning, I knew this celebration would be something special.

Set within the @bethisraelvancouver every moment reflected who they are: deeply loved, and surrounded by an extraordinary community of family and friends.

Two weeks ago, I had the joy of going back to @mintara_burnaby to capture this intimate celebration on Burnaby Mountain.

PART II - Back at Mintara today, just days after photographing one of the most joyful weddings I’ve ever had here.

This couple brought incredible energy, but what made the day unforgettable was everyone around them. Their families and friends laughed, cried, danced, and celebrated with so much heart. Those are the weddings that remind me why I love what I do.

One of the best parts of being a wedding photographer is returning to a place that already holds beautiful memories, knowing another story is about to unfold.

PART ONE - Spending four days with J & A and their incredible families was such a gift. So much warmth, laughter, music, amazing food, vibrant colors, and the kind of love that makes everyone feel like family.

Part one of their celebration began with intimate backyard festivities at J’s parents’ home, followed by a beautiful temple ceremony that had more than a few tears in the room. Every moment felt meaningful, joyful, and deeply connected.

What a beautiful beginning to an unforgettable celebration. And honestly… I’m so glad it wasn’t just one day.
