Meet @byevannrose — our very first Artist in Residence here at Same Studios.

We couldn’t be more excited to have her art in the studio this September. We wanted to create a space where artists could be experienced a little more intentionally — where their work becomes part of the space, the gatherings, the workshops, etc. So for the month of September, you’ll find Evann’s work here in the studio, and we hope you’ll come spend some time with it.

When we first imagined Same, it was never just about four walls or a beautiful space. It was about creating somewhere people could come together.

A place to make something with their hands, meet someone new, learn a skill, host an idea that’s been living in their head, or simply spend a few hours creating alongside other people. Community has always been at the center of it all, and every time we see this space filled with people, it reminds us why we started.

We’ve been planning a few workshops for next month, and we’re so excited to finally share them with you soon. Any guesses what they might be? 🤭

As always, we’d love to hear from you. Is there a workshop you’ve always wanted to take? Something you’ve been wanting to learn or create? We’d love to continue making space for those kinds of gatherings <3 by @samestudios_

Beaded Wooden Coaster Workshop 8/23 ⭐️ come spend a slow Sunday morning with us for a Beaded Coaster Workshop led by @naomi__vizcaino.

We’ve been seeing these beaded coasters everywhere lately and couldn’t stop thinking about how fun it would be to make our own. So, we’re making a morning of it! Come spend some time making something beautiful with your hands and leave with a coaster of your very own.

Each ticket includes:
— Hands on workshop to make your own beaded wooden coaster
— All tools, materials and beads needed for the workshop
— A mini Flamingo Estate candle to enjoy on your new coaster

Thank you so much to everyone who came to our Mother’s Day floral arranging workshop for @elliotcole.co led by @ambruso_flowers 🪷 and a huge thank you to @sift.bakery for providing literally the yummiest treats in costa mesa :’)

I will forever be in awe of this community. Some of you drove 2 hours to come, some came alone and made friends. @subliminal.shift came up and told me how special it is that people feel safe enough to come to these events alone knowing they’ll leave with a friend, and it made me weep!! This is everything we’ve always wanted for Same .. a home away from home. Love you all so, so much 🫂 by @samestudios_
