These kids had no idea what a journey they would go on. 26 years is a long time for anything. This year, as we celebrate our anniversary, I am more thankful than ever for her love, her grace, her mercy, her passion, her mindfulness, her compassion, her humor, her heart, her faith, her love, and so much more. Through all the challenges and victories, all the struggles and successes, all the joys and pains, she has been my rock and the glue that has held us all together. How do you spend your birthday? This one right here chose to throw a Game Night party for 40 or so home school seniors. She spent most of the week prepping food, getting the house ready, and coming up with awesome ideas to make the night enjoyable for all that attended. She the kind of person that would choose to celebrate her birthday on some other day, so one of her kiddos can have fun with a lot of her home school friends. For anyone that knows her, that is no surprise. She is selfless, loving,
servant-hearted, kind, caring, and so much more. Thank you for always setting such an amazing example for our family, Gelaina! We are all better for it. The kids and I love you and will definitely celebrate you with your own special day! Happy birthday! by @samfordlefty

This picture seemed like it was yesterday. Two kids just out of college decided to become one. There have been moves across the country (a couple of those), jobs, kids, broken bones (lots of those), hospital stays, world travel (those were fun), loved ones lost, loved ones gained, joys, frustrations, laughter (lots of that), tears, games (plenty of those), and so much more.

25 years is a long time for anything. 25 years with you has been such an amazing journey that has flown by way too fast. I can’t imagine spending it with anyone else. I know the next 25 will bring so much more. Happy 25th Anniversary to the one who makes me better every day, who loves me more than I deserve, and who still makes me smile when she walks in the room. by @samfordlefty

The Memorial service for my dad (Phillip Allen) will be held on Saturday, June 17th at 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church, Lakeland, TN. We will have a fellowship following the service in the fellowship hall at the church. We would love for you to come and help us celebrate a life well lived! by @samfordlefty

For decades, my father taught, sung, spoke, and read about the God that he loved so much. He was so passionate about the truths that he read about in Scripture. He always told me that the more he learned, the more he realized how much he didn’t know. On Thursday, he got to meet the God he loved so much face to face. While we who are left behind are sad that he is no longer with us, we find joy in knowing that he is singing praises at the throne of the One who is worthy! I am so thankful for the legacy that he leaves behind. I am also thankful that I will be able to worship with him again one day! Love you Dad! by @samfordlefty
