Better late than never!

We were invited back onto the ever brilliant @voices_radio last month. A slightly different show to the usual nonsense as we focussed solely on more club oriented sounds. Check out some highlights above and listen to the full thing on our Mixcloud 🫰🫰

Listen back to the May edition (03) of the Sound Affects radio show, live from York Grove.

This one was recorded last bank holiday Sunday - a Cross the Tracks warm up per se with Fleas take on Frank Ocean, soul, MPB, salsa, jazz funk, weirdo Alex Turner AM tunes, stretched out bongo business, deep house and our first attempt of a jingle. More to come.

Give it a listen - link in our bio x by @samfromcheckout

Video may have killed the radio star.. but it didn’t touch these two beginners!!

We’re back with the (albeit late) April edition of the Sound Affects radio show. As in March, the whole bag is thrown at this one from horizontal jazz finger clickers to upright dancefloor body movers. Nervous (and sometimes insightful) ramblings dotted in between. Give it a listen - link in bio.

It was a gorgeous sunny day when we recorded this and we may have got carried away with the reggae.. and we admit that.. and that’s fine..

Enjoy and let us know what you think! X by @samfromcheckout

We’re just landing back down on planet earth after the long weekend.. some musings to come in our May Sound Affects radio show 🚀

We were glad to be back on the @voices_radio waves on the Saturday! Very little patter from us this time and much more of an emphasis on music for the club. Flick through for some music, new and old, that we’ve been digging 🫡🫡 link in bio x

We also got around to recording our April episode of Sound Affects radio over the weekend. This will come out in the next few days (yes, we know it is May) so keep your eyes and ear holes peeled for that!

With love from ours, to yours xxx by @samfromcheckout

We’re raising money for the Magic Future Foundation, in memory of Oliver ‘Felix Wissenbach’. Whilst not all of us knew Oli, having read his writings and seen what he left behind, we’ve all been inspired and motivated to leave the world a better place. Whilst the Magic Future Foundation has been born following this tragedy, it has been inspiring to see how his family have been able to respond, and create such a positive movement in a world of noise and negativity. The 100 schools project aims to transform the trajectory of communities and countries, one school at a time. We take for granted what we have in our lives, and education leads the way to progress and be able to develop as organisms and societies.

A little bit about us;
Kyri, Sam, Alex and Max all went to school together with Oli’s younger brother max. Young and full of energy, we’ve been motivated to design a challenge and spread some goodness whilst we do it.

Between April 3rd-5th, 2026, we’ll be cycling around 300 miles from London to Paris… wait for it… on tandems.
None of us have any notable cycling achievements (apart from Sam who did an IronMan last year and Kyri who cycles 4 miles to work every day) and the limited experience we do have on bicycles may or may not be powered by a small electrical citrus fruit 🍋‍🟩 , but there’s no doubt we’ll be doing rigorous training in preparation.
Our Goal:
We’re aiming to raise £3,000 to support the Magic Future Foundation’s vital work. Every pound donated will help bring education to children who desperately need it.
We have a few fundraisers to get us going, so keep your eyes peeled on our Instagram @_tandemonium for updates on our training, other events, and the journey itself.
Any donation, no matter how small, will make a real difference. Thank you for helping us honor Oliver’s memory and turn his vision into reality. by @samfromcheckout
