Dropping this here before reality hits back home 🫶🏽

I am currently 3 weeks post my final show
(Blue Bikini Yesterday 💙)

11 of these days were just spent on holiday 🇬🇷 plus some celebrations with family & friends beforehand.

TOP TIP for anyone who is going to compete in the future - do not go on holiday straight after!
I had no choice as Greece was booked before i had decided to step back on stage but i will never do that again 🫣

Reality: Behind all the smiles & fabulous times where many meltdowns & conversations with both Husband & Coach about the mental battle i was having watching my stage body disappear (very quickly). My body was not happy at first with any new foods. Remember i have been on a strict prep diet for 5months until now!

It has been a struggle & i am grateful to @alex_hotham for being so understanding 🥰

On the one hand i was trying to enjoy myself food wise without being too restrictive but also being very concious that my body was highly sensitive at this important stage post prep.

All these moments where i felt lean/good again physique wise/wasn't suffering with my stomach i documented as i knew i would want to look back on them 📸 & remind myself i struck a good balance no matter what the scales say tomorrow!

I went to gym 9 days out of the 11. Focusing on a 50/50 split of resistance training & CV. Luckily we train on holiday anyway so this is no different to the norm, plus countless steps touristing almost daily!💪🏽

80% of the time i ate wholesome clean foods, again just the norm for me, minimal alcohol & some days non at all. Lots of water & some non alcoholic beverages thrown in 🍻

Veg & fruit daily (how i didn't turn into a 🍍 is a miracle) with some treats along the way too 🍨

Another thing i did not ever anticipate was BURNING! 🤦🏽‍♀️
Being an olive skinned gal i have never had this problem...... completely didn't realise that 5x weeks of almost DAILY exfoliating due to show tans would have stripped my skin of its usual barriers! Factor50 became my new bestie😂

If you have made it to the end i hope this has been helpfull & informative, even if it helps just one person then i will be happy i have shared it all ❤️ by @samh_bikini

Bringing home the gold! 🥇🥇

This time it was my client Stacey & my god it felt good to share together! 😘

As your coach & friend i could not be prouder! You handle prep like a Queen & now you have your very own 👑 for the job!

Thank you for trusting me again to get you on that stage & get you the placings you deserved! 😍

Bringing such a better package in your second season & i cannot wait to see what the future holds 💪🏽

For now, enjoy your bubble 💙 taken in Dudley Town Hall by @samh_bikini

This picture is something else! What an absolutely insane season for my wife @sam_hotham

I don’t actually have the words to truly explain how proud I am of you and your achievements this year. It’s definitely been one of the best times of my life watching you shine ❤️

I can’t wait to watch you do it all again! But EVEN better 😮‍💨 it’s a good job we aren’t competitive because I ain’t ever gonna fill those boots 🤣❤️ but I’m gonna try 😉🤣

Back to the drawing board and back to doing what we love…. Training hard together ❤️ taken in Kingston upon Hull by @samh_bikini
