Okay... here I go!

After six months, it’s time to share what’s been making me look & feel so much better than I have in years.

I’ve been battling (and winning!) against Lyme disease for over 10 years. While I’ve never let it define me, it is a part of me. The flare-ups often come without warning. The pain from inflammation can be sharp and relentless—and the “fog” is very real.

But now, after six months of living a new way, I’ve truly never felt better. I have started intermittent fasting (I do not need to lose weight) and started a natural protocol - not a pharmaceutical. It’s so simple... a delish plant-based tea and a fiber matrix supplement (not the over-the-counter kind!)

For me, the results have been truly amazing: inflammation is down, I have more energy, and my skin, hair, and nails feel like I’m 35—not 54.

If you know me, I’m not on a weight loss journey. I’m already naturally thin; but one of the side effects of this lifestyle is weight loss.

18 years ….They say time heals, but Spencer missing you is just a quiet, constant part of my life just between us as I navigate thru life. You may be gone, but your love, advice and light remain with me. I still find you in the quiet moments, the memories and the love that never left.

Last night was more than just an event, it was a deeply personal moment for me. Living with Lyme disease is a fight I face every single day, a disease that is often invisible & misunderstood. To be surrounded by such compassionate and supportive people who see the reality of this illness and are helping change the narrative… it meant everything. 21 years ago, I shocked my family and friends by leaving my CPA/banking corporate life (a person’s dream in NYC) to pursue recruiting. I was literally “shook,” as it happened overnight. It was love at first sight—I found a job I love, a home, and wow, a family. Almost 21 years later, my world was turned upside down. Again, I was “shook.” The Tandym Group (formerly known as The ExecuSearch Group) decided to exit the Accounting finance permanent placement business. But the light at the end of the tunnel is true gold. I am excited to introduce @nexterasearch

I am so thankful to be on this journey with an amazing team—starting a business from scratch …coworkers who are like family, doing what we do best and truly love. We change lives. As we all know, death, moving, and changing jobs are the three most stressful life-changing events we go through. So, new relationships and true bonding happen daily. I’ve been to candidates’ and clients’ weddings, birthdays, funerals and trips around the world. Over the last two decades, I can honestly say my clients and candidates encourage me to be a better person every day. To my friends and family, thank you for your never-ending support.

To my Nextera family, I say, “We are a force to be reckoned with!” And finally, and most importantly, to all of YOU, I welcome and encourage you to please come along on our new journey. We work and love hard!
