Only a week late to posting this but we had the best 4th of July weekend back home at Lake Winnipesaukee. It’s always the best! Family, friends, fireworks, and endless belly laughs (that last one ruined the alliteration but 🤷‍♀️). Make sure you have your sound on for the last video! The loons were CRAZY on our last night 😍 taken in Trails End by @sammy_quin

We had an amazing weekend in Chicago. Did all the things! A river and lake tour, Chicago never disappoints with fabulous food…pizza on the river @pizzeria.portofino, a Michelin star dinner at @elideaschi, an unforgettable cocktail @after_chicago, next level bagels @tillybagel (pictured is the Tilly “chili” crisp bagel) and then the absolute highlight was an after hours craft brew event @lincolnparkzoo!! I literally died when we got to the snow leopard enclosure and got to see BOTH of them out and about 😻 by @sammy_quin

Another 50 mile adventure through Croatan forest is in the books! @croatanbuckfifty thanks for a great ride!! Always amazing to catch a feral @dirtykittengravel cat in the wild in the form of @tedontwo, I am DYING at my glasses in pic 3, I thought I tucked them into my helmet and was way to tired to GAF so I’m rocking antennae to match Ted’s ears 🤣 #shakethedust #ridedirty by @sammy_quin

Had a blast shopping and sipping local yesterday with @cnunes78! October Dump. Spooky season is my favorite but we had lots of other fun things that made the month fly! 1. A butterfly with a torn wing and missing antennae that I tried to help. 2. Haunted gingerbread houses with the Quinlans/Geers 3. Outdoor movie night 4. Waffles has a new long distance girlfriend (our neighbors pup sit for their son who lives in Charlotte) 5. IM NC 70.3 6&7. Flintstones at Southern Peak Brewery 8. VOTE!!!! 9. My trick or treating candy dispensing sidekick by @sammy_quin

Chicago by the numbers: 27.75: the miles walked over 3 days, 94: the number of stories up we were at the Cloudbar and doing “the Tilt”, 100/10: the number of stars I give to the River and Lake tour we did with Wendella (make sure you ride with Kenny or John as your tour guide), 1: insanely fun rickshaw party ride to the P!nk show, 10000000%: the amount I recommend you see P!nk if you can!, 2: the number of Magellanic penguins we got to meet at The Shedd Aquarium (Olivia and Chile were the cutest little ambassadors and I can die happy having met them), 4: the number of friends who made countless memories on this phenomenal trip. Chicago you were a dream and I can’t wait to go back!! by @sammy_quin
