Thank you Upstate💚🤍

The Lord has surely been good to me for allowing me to live out my dream of being a D1 athlete while also getting two degrees. Though I didn’t accomplish everything I set out to do nor did this chapter end in a way I would have liked, I was able to make countless memories that I’ll cherish for a lifetime with the people I love most. I have been blessed beyond measure to be apart of such a great team filled with amazing teammates who will forever be my brothers. Once a Spartan, always a Spartan.

May all the glory, honor, and praise be to God. by @samshimanskiy

The Lord is so good and has blessed me with the opportunity to graduate a whole year early! The past three years have been so fun that I decided to come back for another year! I am thankful for the amazing people in my corner, I couldn’t have done it without my awesome pit crew.

No expectations, no limits, no fears⚡️

Year 2 is complete. The Lord is good and has blessed me with a season of fast times and top finishes and the team with a 2nd place finish at conference. Thankful for the people around me, I couldn’t have done it without them. The future is looking bright with medals and even faster pr’s on the horizon.

August 29th, 2017, I ran my very first cross country race. November 27th, 2021, I ran my last one ever. The past 5 years has been one heck of a journey filled with the highest of the highs to the lowest of the lows. I have been blessed to have an amazing coach, awesome teammates, and the biggest supporters in my family and girlfriend. I thank God for the opportunity, talent, and passion He’s given me with this sport. This past season I was the Region Champion, 8th at County, Upperstate Runner up, 7th at State, and I got to run at the NXR South East Regional. I’m ready to do some special things on the track this coming season⚔️🏆All Glory to God✝️ by @samshimanskiy

It’s been one heck of a season. I finished 2nd at the State Championship running my first ever sub 2 minute 800m and the 4x800m team just barely missed the school record. I want to thank my amazing girlfriend, family, teammates, and coach for all the support this season. Some big things are going to happen senior year🤩 All Glory to God by @samshimanskiy
