Two years ago, I graduated from my local community college with an Associate’s Degree, and my life trajectory changed soon as I opened my Rice University Transfer portal on 5/18/2023, 4:00 PM CT. I met some of the most brilliant, kind, talented, and loving peers and faculties at Rice, and made friends with some of most fun ones😉

Two years passed so quick that I never had a chance to take a deep breath and count down my time. During my last semester, when folks asked me how I feel about graduating? I always tell them nothing yet, but I’m sure it will get to me soon.

Well it does now, and I missed all the time hanging out with friends and going to boba shops, ranting about servery food, assignments, crushes, drama, internships; I missed the “overrated Tiger Noodle House” because we go there every single weekend; I missed all the dances and showcases at BASYK; late night studies all over Fondy; Beer Bike; InterVarsity Bible Studies; and just being 3 minutes away from Sewall Hall… Never again I shall feel so alive as a college student, and damn I’m already missing it all.

I’m on my own now! What’s next? Maybe I’ll start a life in Austin?
