‼️SOLD‼️
“Legend” (Tom Brady 1/1)
2.5”x 3.5”, acrylics, alcohol inks & mixed media.
.
My most recent art trading card, a mixed media piece featuring the Patriots great supported by an acrylic painted base and border template laden with color appropriate alcohol inks. The back is covered with an authentic Wilson football sample to give it a classic finish. Legendary, indeed!

‼️SOLD‼️
“Going, Going, Gone” (Ken Griffey Jr. 1/1)
2.5”x 3.5”, acrylics & mixed media.
.
So this almost never happens but we don’t always know what moves us creatively—my second Ken Griffey Jr. card in a row⚾️ Finished this one up recently and went for an acrylic painted base (fairly thick layer with a palette knife for texture) and the mixed media elements to overlay it and complete the piece.

‼️SOLD‼️
A recent Ken Griffey Jr. art trading card (2.5”x 3.5”, hand cut mixed media & acrylics) that’s already ready to be sent to its new owner @handcraftedheroes_boston ! The Kid is always a great art subject and this one was a more playful homage to his greatness on the field.

“Miles Time” (Olivia Miles 1/1)
2.5”x 3.5”, acrylics & mixed media
.
My most recent art trading card project features one of the most exciting WNBA players in the league, Olivia Miles. I used lots of acrylic paint along with a canvas knife for the base and the subject for the front and backside. I wanted this to be a simple but powerful and dynamic-looking card, a reflection of its subject…

Returning to an old study for a possible art piece—this is my rendition of @shaq ‘s iconic hoops finish. This was done with pencils and markers on mixed media paper. We shall see what comes from the final frame!

“Osaka”
11”x 14”, acrylics on birchwood canvas.
.
My latest painting, an abstract portrait of tennis star @naomiosaka . I love her fashion choices as a way of expression and wanted to create a larger painting of her after seeing her @theofficialai3 inspired pre match outfit at the US Open.

“Tusken Raider” (Star Wars 1/1)
2.5”x 3.5” mixed media & acrylics
.
My latest art trading card piece features one of the most mysterious characters from Star Wars, the Tusken Raider (or “Sand People”). This card features an acrylic base background with mixed media elements added to the hand cut subject of a Star Wars Galaxies card (1993) by artist Michael Magnola. This one came about very abruptly and was fine in one sitting—it happens sometimes!

Another great mail day! My favorite baseball player ever is @docgooden16 and this 1/1 art trading card by @jeremyamafox is a true gem—hand drawn and wonderfully colored, Jeremy’s work captures Gooden’s signature look with flair and artistry, creating a piece that went into my display case quickly after opening. The artwork on the orange covering paper is great in its own right! Je vous remercie sir!

“Miles M.” (Miles Morales 1/1)
2.5”x 3.5”, inks & markers
.
One of my favorite creations—a hand drawn (pencils and ink) and colored art (art markers) trading card featuring one of the most exciting characters in the Soider-Man universe, Miles Morales. I enjoy making all kinds of art trading cards but the hand painted and drawn are my favorites usually. This one is no exception. It’s akin to creating a comic book panel, really. Looking forward to the third film in this series!
