Two days later, and I'm still thinking about this one.

@chanelofficial at Grand Palais, through @matthieu_blazy 's lens, felt less like an exercise in repeating house codes, and more like asking what those codes can become next. There was heritage everywhere, but it never felt trapped by heritage.

What stayed with me most was the idea of a woman containing many different versions of herself - masculine and feminine, restrained and sensual, polished and instinctive. It felt very much like a house looking backwards only to work out how to move forward.

I attended with my dear Delna wearing a look from the latest @delnapoonawalladesigns prêt collection - lace, movement, fringe, and just enough drama for Chanel at Grand Palais. There was something especially lovely wearing an Indian designer in one of Paris Fashion Week's most iconic rooms.

Some invitations are about what you take away from being in THE room. Gimme more! 🥂✨️

From the archives. ✨

Two years ago, I had one of those milestone moments in life that called for celebrating properly - and somehow, I decided to go all out with a photoshoot with celebrity photographer @vikram_bawa in Mumbai.

I was staying at @tajmahalmumbai, my absolute favourite luxury hotel in the world. I’ve had some of my most memorable milestones there over the years, and there’s something about the Taj service that, honestly, I still haven’t found anywhere else.

So we brought the shoot into my room and created these photographs there. Some of them - particularly the swimsuit frames - have never been shared publicly before. I was a little shy about those ones back then… so, well, here we go. 🥂😉

And now that I’ve finally posted the swimsuit photographs, I’m reminded that I actually have a rather big announcement coming up too…

For the @chanelofficial show at the @le_grand_palais, I wore @delnapoonawalladesigns , from her latest Prêt collection, a structured jacket and fringed skirt layered with delicate lace detailing.

What I loved most about the look was that it felt completely at home in Paris without trying to become something else for Paris.

The day moved from quiet moments at the hotel, through the city, to the Grand Palais and back again, and these photographs capture the part around the show that I had not shared yet.

Thank you, Delna, for dressing me; we indeed shared such a wonderful evening together. 🤍

Sometimes the most memorable moments are the ones that come together completely unplanned.

Glad to be invited by @shafaqueali to walk for her latest showcase at The Couture Concord by SHAFAQUE at Hotel Melia. What unfolded was a wonderfully diverse evening bringing together people from fashion, business, media and culture, with @shafaque_official presenting a capsule collection of limited-edition wardrobe pieces that carry Indian craft intelligence into contemporary silhouettes. ✨️

The Couture Concord itself is meant to be more than a fashion showcase. It is conceived as a platform for conversation around design, culture, commerce and the evolving relationship between India and France. One of its first filmed conversations brought together Alexis Mourot, CEO of Christian Louboutin, and Shafaque Ali as a selectant of the France-India Young Talent Programme by CCIFI in the Innovation Year of 2026, which says a lot about the kind of dialogue she is trying to build around the platform. Many thanks to @_mihirsarkar for supporting the event with such a diverse gathering in the room! 👏🏽

Shafaque is now preparing for her Paris launch as a multidisciplinary designer, with plans spanning not only a limited-edition wardrobe rooted in contemporary Indian heritage textiles, but also objects, lamps and furniture in collaboration with @sankarafurnituredesigns.

What I loved most was the spirit behind it : not just fashion for fashion’s sake, but a conversation between India and France, heritage and modernity, craft and commerce. Those are spaces I naturally find myself drawn to in my own work and life too.

I may have stepped onto the runway simply as a friend, but I was very happy to be part of a moment that felt thoughtful, ambitious and very much of the world I believe India and France can continue building together.

India’s next chapter of global influence won’t be built through economics alone. 🇮🇳🇫🇷

At a recent business lunch in Paris with the Indian textile delegation led by Smt. Neelam Shami Rao, Secretary (Textiles), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, @texminindia, one thought particularly stayed with me : India needs to be far more outward-looking in how we take our weavers, craftsmanship and creative traditions to the world.

We possess extraordinary cultural capital. The opportunity now is to become equally ambitious about its storytelling, positioning and place on the global stage.

It’s something I think about often through my work with @the.curated.circles, particularly as we build bridges between Indian luxury and the French ecosystem. France has mastered the elevation of savoir-faire into both cultural influence and luxury equity. India has an extraordinary opportunity to do the same with its own traditions, but in a language that is contemporary, global and unmistakably Indian.

As India’s geopolitical and economic weight grows, I believe its cultural influence and soft power can grow alongside it.

And increasingly, this intersection of India and France, luxury, business and cultural diplomacy is exactly where I want to build.

Lazily explored around Biarritz some days ago with my chic partner @h__trajan in tow! Lunch at @lapetiteplagebiarritz, post which we found a lovely cocoon to sip prosecco by the sea, and walked around in the gauzy afternoon in this chic beach town, admiring Pays Basque some more.
