Two days later, and I'm still thinking about this one.

@chanelofficial at Grand Palais, through @matthieu_blazy 's lens, felt less like an exercise in repeating house codes, and more like asking what those codes can become next. There was heritage everywhere, but it never felt trapped by heritage.

What stayed with me most was the idea of a woman containing many different versions of herself - masculine and feminine, restrained and sensual, polished and instinctive. It felt very much like a house looking backwards only to work out how to move forward.

I attended with my dear Delna wearing a look from the latest @delnapoonawalladesigns prêt collection - lace, movement, fringe, and just enough drama for Chanel at Grand Palais. There was something especially lovely wearing an Indian designer in one of Paris Fashion Week's most iconic rooms.
