when traveling as a student leader you have expect the unexpected! as someone who likes to work and play, i always make sure i have my academic essentials like my laptop, planner, and notebook but also any emergency essentials like disinfectant wipes, a tide pen, and some travel beauty products!!! every queen has to maintain her beauty and brains of course 👸🏽🧠

these last few days of campaigning have been nothing but remarkable. i am so grateful to have connected with so many special people and feel the love & support just from them showing up. although it was overwhelming, i found it easy to ground myself by remembering why I started this in the first place.

WIN. We all deserve to win and go from surviving to thriving. We shouldn’t be in survival mode during undergrad nor after. Students deserve to feel supported, seen & heard, but most importantly valued. to everyone who’s heard me speak or shared a special moment with me during campaign week, i am extremely grateful. I learned so much about you all but also myself. I didn’t think I would make it this far in the race and I definitely didn’t think I would have this much genuine interest & support when it came to my campaign. To me, it feels like I already won, with or without the title of miss junior.

to my campaign team, thank you, thank you, thank you. i love you all so much. thank you for not only dedicating your time, energy, and even money to support me and my campaign but believing in me. before i even decided to run, you all supported me and thought i was good enough from day 1. these endless days & nights that we put in to make people feel my vision, not just hear it or see it but truly feel it, made more of an impact than you know. i am so blessed to have not only an amazing team but the most wonderful friends in my corner and i wouldn’t trade you all for the world. 🥹💘🫵🏽

to my mom, i love you. you were the first person to read my application essay and immediately gave me my flowers. you have always been someone that has believed in me and seen greatness in me even when i didn’t see it in myself. to know that i am blessed enough to have a mother who does not envy me or live through me but supports me 110% and is always working towards
my best interest is still unbelievable sometimes. my favorite person in the world and you’ve poured so much into not just my campaign, but my life always. the motivation, the love, the support, and the empathy. i will forever cherish you & thank you for everything always. taken in Coppin State University by @sanaaxtaylor

This journey is more than just a title—it’s about stepping into something bigger than myself while exuding leadership, service, pride, purpose, and authenticity.

They said I couldn’t but I did it tho! I WIN AGAIN ⭐️!
pre-k grad, kindergarten grad, and hs grad 🎀

This is truly one of the biggest accomplishments in my life so far. There were days where I thought I wouldn’t make it this far and when there are days in the future like those, I’ll look back & remind myself that I’ll win again. If you know me, you know that my high school experience wasn’t the best, and there were days where I didn’t know if I’d make it to senior year or even to college but now I can say I’m doing both. I commend myself for accomplishing this milestone, knowing all the battles i fought within these last 4 years. I took so many L’s in private but I’m never going to stop screaming about my biggest win thus far 🥹 by @sanaaxtaylor
