First, I want to say congratulations to ALL candidates because you showed up and showed out. I’m so happy that I got to meet each and every candidate doing their three-day campaign run and their campaigns were so well put together. Every candidate is fighting for change and bringing unity to Coppin State University. I’m beyond proud that I was able to attend every campaign as well as the Royal Court showcase where all candidates presented themselves with their speeches to the entire student body. I cannot wait to see who will be the next Mister and Miss Coppin State University as well as the King and Queen of their respective classification. Again, congratulations to ALL candidates and I have a question for everyone, WHO WILL YOU VOTE FOR?

EVERY VOICE IN EVERY CHOICE ❤️

these last few days of campaigning have been nothing but remarkable. i am so grateful to have connected with so many special people and feel the love & support just from them showing up. although it was overwhelming, i found it easy to ground myself by remembering why I started this in the first place.

WIN. We all deserve to win and go from surviving to thriving. We shouldn’t be in survival mode during undergrad nor after. Students deserve to feel supported, seen & heard, but most importantly valued. to everyone who’s heard me speak or shared a special moment with me during campaign week, i am extremely grateful. I learned so much about you all but also myself. I didn’t think I would make it this far in the race and I definitely didn’t think I would have this much genuine interest & support when it came to my campaign. To me, it feels like I already won, with or without the title of miss junior.

to my campaign team, thank you, thank you, thank you. i love you all so much. thank you for not only dedicating your time, energy, and even money to support me and my campaign but believing in me. before i even decided to run, you all supported me and thought i was good enough from day 1. these endless days & nights that we put in to make people feel my vision, not just hear it or see it but truly feel it, made more of an impact than you know. i am so blessed to have not only an amazing team but the most wonderful friends in my corner and i wouldn’t trade you all for the world. 🥹💘🫵🏽

to my mom, i love you. you were the first person to read my application essay and immediately gave me my flowers. you have always been someone that has believed in me and seen greatness in me even when i didn’t see it in myself. to know that i am blessed enough to have a mother who does not envy me or live through me but supports me 110% and is always working towards
my best interest is still unbelievable sometimes. my favorite person in the world and you’ve poured so much into not just my campaign, but my life always. the motivation, the love, the support, and the empathy. i will forever cherish you & thank you for everything always.

To W.I.N. with Sanaa, you have to bring in some wellness, you have to interact, and you have to navigate paths to succeed ✨

Here’s how I’m getting the 2026–2027 coppin state junior class to W.I.N.:
Creating real spaces for mental health, build genuine connections, and opening doors so every student can move with purpose.

This isn’t just a year… it’s a movement.
Wellness. Interaction. Navigation. Let’s W.I.N. 💫

Dear Eagles, it is with great courage and honor that I share with you one of my biggest announcements thus far. I have decided to officially campaign for Coppin State University’s 2026-2027 Miss Junior! This journey is more than just a title—it’s about stepping into something bigger than myself while exuding leadership, service, pride, purpose, and authenticity.

As your potential Miss Junior, I am committed to being a voice for EVERY Eagle—advocating our needs, celebrating our achievements whether big or small, and creating a space where we all feel heard, seen, and empowered. I will strive to bring innovative ideas, real impact, and lasting change to our campus.

Fellow Eagles 🦅—I would be more than honored to have your support. Choose someone who will stand for you, work for you, and grow with you. Choose dedication, integrity, and success. Choose Sanaa Bowman as your next Miss Junior. Why lose when you can win with Sanaa Bowman?

Thank you to everyone who has supported me thus far—this is just the beginning 💐
