Long before the crowd found this hidden gem, I had the pleasure of shooting Khao Soi in Karama for Time Out Dubai back in February. 📸🍜

What was supposed to be a quick one-hour photoshoot turned into hours of warm conversation. From the moment I walked in, Mayuri welcomed me like an old friend. Listening to her share her humble beginnings, and how the restaurant was born simply out of a deep craving for the comforts of home and the food she missed cooking, made every detail so much more special.
