Some fun memories and BTS from the making of Home Made cookbook a year ago, me as the photographer, alongside the wonderful editor, Misbaah. @misbaah_mansuri 🌟

The experience of meeting more than 50 of Dubai’s leading chefs and restaurateurs, listening to their personal stories behind their favorite homemade dishes, and getting to taste them too was an absolute blast!

Thank you again to everyone involved 🙏😃

Long before the crowd found this hidden gem, I had the pleasure of shooting Khao Soi in Karama for Time Out Dubai back in February. 📸🍜

What was supposed to be a quick one-hour photoshoot turned into hours of warm conversation. From the moment I walked in, Mayuri welcomed me like an old friend. Listening to her share her humble beginnings, and how the restaurant was born simply out of a deep craving for the comforts of home and the food she missed cooking, made every detail so much more special.

My best project from last year and I’m so proud! 😍Home Made cookbook is finally out! It felt impossible to finish at the beginning, but I can finally hold it in my hands. Shot across 51 locations with 52 chefs/restaurateurs and 52 beautiful homemade meals . Shoots all completed in just 20 days.Grateful for everyone who was part of this book.
