Introducing The Ownership Lab, a new initiative from The New Vanguard designed to help emerging creators, entrepreneurs, and cultural leaders turn talent and ideas into businesses they can protect, build, and own.

We’re kicking things off in Detroit with a session led by Eddie Sanders, creating space for real conversations around ownership, business, longevity, and building beyond the work itself.

Create with purpose. Build with ownership.

September 4 | 6–8 PM EST
Detroit Foundation Hotel | Borgman Room

I’m honored to join the Recording Academy’s 2026 New Member Class.

For years, I’ve advocated for artists, producers, songwriters, and creative entrepreneurs to not just create culture, but own it, protect it, and build lasting businesses around it. Becoming part of the Academy is another opportunity to help ensure the voices of creators are represented in the conversations that shape our industry.

I’m looking forward to building a stronger music ecosystem in Chicago, advocating for creators, and helping push our industry toward greater transparency, equity, and long-term ownership.

Protect what you create. Collect what you build.

Proud to add my voice to the Academy.

The New Vanguard is not a label. It’s a collective position. Vanguard • Noun [van-gahrd] Leaders shaping what’s next.

New is perspective, not a timeline. It’s recognition of what has already been built. Together.

Our work and our community have always been at the center.

This space is yours too. Introduce yourself below:

Today, we’re proud to introduce the new home of The New Vanguard.

Our new website brings together the work, the thinking, and the systems behind it all. Explore our case studies. Learn more about the agency. Step into the Features platform. Look inside TNV Studios. Connect with us for what’s next.

This is more than a redesign. It’s a reflection of who we are becoming.

Five years in the making.

Today, The New Vanguard officially steps forward as a lifestyle agency.

Built from artist first world building and shaped by culture, we’ve spent the last five years producing the work quietly. Production. Editorial campaigns. Artist partnerships. Experiential moments. Strategy and design that live beyond a single post.

This sizzle is a reflection of the road so far and a signal of what’s next.

Black and Brown owned. Culture led. Systems over trends. Legacy over virality.

We are open for business and ready to build what’s next with brands, artists, and partners who care about meaning, craft, and longevity.

Welcome to The New Vanguard. by @sandersesq
