🎶 Misty 🎶

Still not over this.

A few days ago, I sat at the piano and played Misty in public for the first time—singing, playing, listening, trusting. What I remember most is not the nerves, but the way the music was held by others: musicians who made space, who listened deeply, and let the night unfold without force.

My deepest thanks to Michele Faber @michele__faber , whose guidance brought me to that moment, and to the musicians Mati @matiasmiguezbass and Ruben @6357ruben who welcomed me onto the bandstand with quiet generosity .

I thought this would be the end of a challenge.
Instead, that night I found my place.
Already practicing the next tune. 🎙️🎹

🎶 Blues Minor 🎶

There’s a new kind of consciousness in singing and playing the music you’ve composed yourself. You begin to hear it differently, to feel it differently. The harmony moves beyond the piano, beyond the voice, finding its way into your mind, your muscles, your very being.

And once again, dancing has shown me the way. As always 🌌🎶🫶🏻

So grateful to discover how jazz keeps unfolding within me — how a chord can become a sensation, a melody a gesture, a rhythm a way of being.

Work in progress … 🎹🎶

Being oldschool is a little like wearing vintage — good manners, kindness, honesty, respect and treating people well never really go out of style.

I soooo love this 🎶🎹🎙️

Btw, from now on I’ll only join jam sessions if I’m opening them, or if there’s room for at least three songs — preferably accompanied by the traditional musician’s compensation: a drink. 🍷
But I completely understand… perhaps this city has a particular affection for eternal saxophone and trumpet solos, and vocalists are best appreciated in small, carefully measured doses = one song and good bye.

So, meanwhile, I’ll simply keep making music, writing songs, and enjoying the luxury of choosing where I put my voice.

No complaints, of course. Just adapting gracefully to the local musical philosophy. 😉

Ah yes, and apparently my new hobby is unfollowing. 😌

Very peaceful, surprisingly efficient, and apparently quite good for musical hygiene. 🎶✨

🎶 Barcelona 🎶
23 years ago today, on a quiet Sunday morning, I arrived in this beautiful city. And ever since, Barcelona has held me in her warm embrace — through every chapter, every season, every memory.
23 years later, my heart still feels at home here.

Thank you for becoming a part of who I am.
I love you, Barcelona. ❤️

We always meet the souls that resonate with our frequency. The art is recognizing them.

🎶Unplayed🎶

Lately, I’ve been leaving some things unplayed.

Not everything needs to be heard.
Not every silence needs an answer.

A few notes remain somewhere between the fingers and the keys, where improvisation becomes a conversation with the unknown.

I have questions.
I keep them there.

Between one chord and the next.
