This Long Island wedding had such a strong mood from the beginning. Rich florals, espresso brown bridesmaid dresses, historic interiors, and a reception filled with candles all gave the day a very specific look.

The style leaned Gatsby, with a slightly darker, more fashion-forward feel, and Hempstead House fit that perfectly.

The Nor’easter stayed with us the entire day, but it honestly worked so well with the overall design and atmosphere. The soft light, wet grounds, darker interiors, and candlelit reception made the whole wedding feel even moodier.

By the time the reception started, the mansion felt warm, dramatic, and completely transformed. It was such a good setting for a mix of editorial portraits, candid wedding photography, and all the energy of the party later that night.

Congratulations Juliana and Matthew! What a beautiful, elegant, classic, and fun wedding we were invited to! We really love your style! How you planned your wedding. It was an honor to be part of your day! You had the ceremony the day before, you two were happy, excited, in love! It literally felt that your love was so unique and strong that it continued to the next day with celebration and joy! And will continue forever! Just by being so in love, and keeping that smile that love brings, it was amazing to take pictures, not stopping! We love taking pictures, and we love to take pictures when it needs to be taken and when it was candid, just like that. Thank you! Your families were incredible and beautiful and everyone around! God bless your new journey! We love all our couples! Please comment!
