just married & soaking it allll in

cocktail hour, golden hour, a garden to run through, our fav drinks & bites, and of course an outfit change… tying my veil into a cap, something I tried at my first dress fitting and @madisonsullivanhair brought to life.

the serious part was over and the party was just getting started 🥀

Juliana and Matthew! You and Matt look amazing! Incredible and beautiful! You got to wear your grandmother’s wedding dress, your mother got to wear it as well! And how beautiful it is it’s going to be passed on in generations. It’s an incredible feeling to see how every generation has been raised with amazing morals to keep everyone together. I think a wedding brings so much joy into everyone’s life around because of how families grow together in this beautiful journey. We were very happy to be part of your wedding and were treated with such a strong kindness that we can see very clear how you two were raised. That’s such an important principle, because the beauty of your love will be passed on, like it was passed to you! God bless our families! We love all our couples! Please comment! Thank you again for letting us be part of your day!

This Long Island wedding had such a strong mood from the beginning. Rich florals, espresso brown bridesmaid dresses, historic interiors, and a reception filled with candles all gave the day a very specific look.

The style leaned Gatsby, with a slightly darker, more fashion-forward feel, and Hempstead House fit that perfectly.

The Nor’easter stayed with us the entire day, but it honestly worked so well with the overall design and atmosphere. The soft light, wet grounds, darker interiors, and candlelit reception made the whole wedding feel even moodier.

By the time the reception started, the mansion felt warm, dramatic, and completely transformed. It was such a good setting for a mix of editorial portraits, candid wedding photography, and all the energy of the party later that night.
