The reason why a lot of us are not boldly walking in our calling/ordination as children of God today is because we are not living according to Gods Holy standard. We are unable to occupy space because we feel we have no right to speak or lead on what we do not personally embody. We are still bound by the very things we have been given power & victory over. ⁣
⁣
For whoever needs to hear this, the encouragement/command today is to RISE UP. Come out of darkness!! Gods protection for the believer from the accuser of the brethren, is to call us to a higher standard of living that we may be able to stand firm against his devices & perfect our maturity in Christ. ⁣
⁣
You are still needed at your post. There is no longer time to shrink. Whether it was caused by sin, life’s circumstances etching at your zeal or any other factor, RISE UP. The King of Kings is still calling you higher to himself. Stay alert and fight against the plans of the enemy to silence you. Souls are still waiting. God’s love & joy is still constant. His ability to save & keep you is still sure. His Spirit readily available & His word still a solid foundation. Get back to that place with Him. Stand your ground & remind the enemy of whose you are! ⁣
⁣
“For this reason take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having prepared everything, to take your stand. Stand, therefore, with truth like a belt around your waist, righteousness like armor on your chest, and your feet sandaled with readiness for the gospel of peace. ⁣
⁣
In EVERY situation take up the shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit  — which is the word of God. Pray at all times in the Spirit with every prayer and request, and stay alert with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints.”⁣

“With your history of preeclampsia, there’s still a very high chance of it reoccurring again this pregnancy”

And my declaration each and every time was “That will not be my portion in Jesus name. This pregnancy will be symptom free”
It was a declaration that carried me all the way to 39 weeks.

Zero symptoms. Zero complications. Zero Preeclampsia.

Rolled into the hospital 7cm dilated and baby boy came forth within a few hours. 🥹🥹

Thank you, Jesus!

Year 32 🎈

The enemy will try from the womb, but he won’t prevail
There will be trying times, but your joy will be intact
There’s no rush to a certain destination. You will love every bit of the journey ahead of you
Life will unfold beautifully for you
The Lord will surround you with wonderful people
You will come into the knowledge of Christ and you will guard it like precious gold
You will keep seeking and the more you seek, the more you’ll find
The Lord will put many testimonies in your mouth. Some you won’t even know how to speak of yet
His praise will forever be on your lips

I knew from the moment I found out I was pregnant that I was having a baby girl. There was just a knowing that I couldn’t shake even though I so desperately wanted a boy FIRST. It’s something I’ve always been vocal about. A part of the reason was me selfishly wanting to live through my kids as I myself always wanted an older brother. I was tired of the eldest daughter drama/experience and wanted an escape! I knew that the Lord has given me such a position as this for a purpose, but it still did not erase the exhaustion/trauma that one may experience with the responsibilities of an eldest daughter.

One evening as I was sitting in the living room while pregnant, my mind went into overdrive. So many thoughts from nowhere running through at once. I got up to go use the bathroom and as I sat down I heard the Holy Spirit say clearly “Whatever has happened in the past has ended with you. Have no fear. You have done & are doing the work”, and that was all the word I needed to restore my peace. Having a boy first was not the solution to my fear, walking hand in hand with God and trusting Him for our future was.

12 months later and this beautiful precious gift is growing and exploring the world around her and I have the privilege of stewarding her towards the path God has called her unto. I see so much of myself in this little bundle of joy & I do not take for granted the front row seat I have in her life. It’s a responsibility I’ll gladly sign up for over and over again. God makes no mistakes and whether we think we always know the best next step, He ultimately sees and knows all and calls forth the beginning from the end.

“For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.

Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.

Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.”

My Zhuri Oreofeoluwa Omoehi Ajibade is ONE 🎀

Today I woke up with eyes full of tears and a heart full of gratitude. Zhuri you are not just a blessing in the literal sense of a blessing but you are the start and the initiation of the “more” that God promised us. Our days have been brighter and brighter because you are in it. You bring joy and so much personality to every room you walk and stomp into. You are not bothered by external influence but you follow the path that you set your mind onto.

Mama and Dada love you so much and it is our greatest prayer that God will continue to equip us to raise you according to His blueprint for you!

Happy Birthday! 🥹🎀💗 by @sandssssa

Journey to One (IV) - Birth Testimony

The morning of July 4th came and still no progress. Still measuring 4/5cm despite the interventions done so far. I was slowly becoming discouraged but praise God for all the people who were encouraging and praying for me. My husband being the most present one!

My preferred doctor was not on call that day, so another doctor came in to speak with me. She was also Nigerian (this is where the dream starts to come into play). She had come in to tell me the interventions that we had left before we had to opt for delivery via C section, which was the very thing I was dreading/scared of. Now let me preface this by saying that I am NOT against having a C section in any way. BIRTH IS BIRTH. And many of the miracle babies in my life have been delivered via c section. HOWEVER, because of what the Lord had shown and told ME over the course of my pregnancy, I KNEW I was NOT supposed to have one.

At one point after she suggested the next the intervention, I sighed heavily and said out loud to my husband, Doula, and sister in law “not another intervention again. I’m so tired” to which the doctor responded by giving me a very nasty attitude and said “you see that’s exactly what we are not going to do!” And proceeded to walk out the room with the nurse. Overtaken by confusion, I looked at everyone and said “umm did I say something wrong lol?” We were all going back and forth and requested for who else was on call because I was not about to be dealing with no attitude during this whole process. The other doctor on call was not someone I was familiar with so I declined and asked that they keep her…. by @sandssssa

Journey to One (III) - Birth Testimony

The second dose was completed and I was moved to the delivery room to start the induction. @livewithmjb called me to check in and I immediately burst out in tears because I was so scared and did not know what to expect. Quite frankly, I can’t even remember the order in which the process took place, but I know one involved a balloon catheter being inserted, which aided in getting me to 4/5cm along (depending on who was measuring), propofol, Pitocin and manually breaking my water. Having my doula @omowadoulaministry there by my side made the whole experience more bearable because she was able to advocate for me and educate me in real time along the way.

The contractions were still very much bearable at 4/5cm but for some reason I was not progressing along. 24 hours had gone by (morning of July 3rd) and I was still measuring 4/5cm. A little while after the pitocin was administered, I requested for the epidural before anything progressed too quickly and got out of hand 😅.
At this stage, I was sure that I would be further along and it was GO TIME as the doctor had said I should be ready to delivery by noon. Lo and behold, I was still stalling at 4/5cm.

I did not notify that many people of what was going on but somehow the Lord had me on people’s hearts and sent them to encourage me along the way. The whole of July 3rd looked like praying, sleeping, breathing through discomfort, laughing to stop from crying, more interventions, worshipping through my playlist, eating and hopefully waiting … but despite it all, I kept declaring what God had shown and told me throughout the journey and I never lost confidence that it will happen just as He declared, even though it did not feel like it in the moment

Journey to One (II) - Birth Testimony

Sometime in my first trimester, I had a dream surrounding childbirth. (This will come in handy as we navigate the chaos that occurred in the delivery room). What I took from the dream was that my delivery will go smooth and that will go according to Gods plan. I prayed. Declared and continued on the journey. I honestly didn’t think much of it till later on.

On July 2nd 2025, I went in for my second dose of iron infusion. The nurse had measured my blood pressure and after the reading I could sense a bit of concern on her face. She said that my blood pressure was high and that I should finish my infusion and they’ll re-measure after about 3 hours. We all thought it was probably just my nerves from the needle and that it will go down once I was calm. At this point, I was 36 weeks and 5 days and my feet were swollen from the pregnancy. The infusion was done, they come re measure and this time the Doctor is with her. After re measuring, the doctor takes my hand and says “I’m going to hold your hand when I say this but you’re not going home today because we have to induce you. You have preeclampsia and we have to get baby out”.

A very big part of me knew that this baby was going to come earlier than the EDD but I did not expect it to go down LIKE THIS! My husband and I looked at eachother. My immediate response was “Ma’am! 👀 Can we schedule this induction for tomorrow because my bags are not packed, my hair’s not done and we don’t have a car seat!”
She looked at me and chuckled and said “Absolutely not” 😭🤣.

It was at that moment that I realized it was actually a serious matter and it was GO TIME
