From graphite dust to a glowing display. ✏️ ➔ 📱✨

October 4, 2012 vs. TODAY.

When I look back, I see how it all began: sharpening pencils, kneading a modeling eraser, smudging paper.
A lot has changed since I picked up a digital pencil years later. The screen has replaced the paper, but the passion for every single line has remained exactly the same.

Tools change. But the feeling of creating something alive from a blank canvas stays with you forever. 🖤

💬 To all the creatives out there: Are you Team “Traditional on Paper” or Team “Digital on a Tablet”?

Life rarely goes according to plan. There are twists and turns, uphill climbs and moments when the world briefly stands still.
That makes it all the more important to consciously embrace the here and now-to turn the music up full blast, soak up every moment on this journey.
For me, „enjoy the ride“ means savoring every stroke on the digital canvas and celebrating life in all its colors and facets.

What song is currently on repeat during your „ride“? Let me know in the comments! 👇 taken in Saarlouis by @sandyrockcanvas

Oktober is Pink. But my story is Rock ‘n‘ Roll.

Pinktober isn‘t just a trend for me - it’s a yearly reminder that we won this battle. When the diagnosis hit me right in the beginning of my pregnancy, I wasn’t just fighting for myself - I was fighting for two.

Three years later, when everyday life had returned and life was back on track, I picked up a digital pen for the first time. To bring all that intensity, that gratitude and the wild energy of rock music to the canvas. Every portrait I draw today is my personal victory over the darkness.

Please don’t forget your check-ups. Take care of yourself!

Drop a 🩷 or 🤘 in the comments for everyone who needs strength today!

Being a ‚misfit‘ means more than just a label to me. It’s a family, a movement. And I’m damn proud to have been there from the very beginning and to share this crazy journey with @crossboneskully. ‚Riding with Angels‘ is out now and captures this exact feeling. Go check it out!

Halfway mark on Joe Perry! 🎸✨

I’ve been a bit quiet this week because I’m totally lost in the details of this new piece. 🎨

Still a lot of work to do, but I wanted to show you the current progress. Can't wait to complete this one!

What do you think of it so far? 👇
