We watch documentaries about Japanese longevity, read books like Ikigai, and search for secrets behind how people stay healthy, active and happy for so long..

But sometimes, we don’t have to look that far.
There are wise, joyful people right around us, carrying decades of lived experience and lessons we may never find in a book...
I met this incredibly energetic woman on my journey and asked her, “How are you this happy energetic...

One conversation turned into another, and I couldn’t stop listening to her for the next 30 minutes.we talked about herbs ...room of one's own...how marriage is never ending negotiation...how to be happy with oneself ...topics came one after other .

Maybe the wisdom we keep searching for in books and documentaries is sometimes sitting right beside us..around us... we just need to pause, listen and recognise it. ❤️ by @sangeeth_vp_
