Working on (un)grounded with @amesgoesup was an absolute delight, incredibly personal, and very rewarding. As an immunocompromised person, it was very important to me to perform with my mask this time. I spent almost 10 years attempting to be diagnosed and treated while progressively feeling worse and worse.
It was very cathartic to finally be able to express this on stage. Thank you @cirkusmoxie and @bk_arthaus for giving us the space to perform, and @lipyanskiy_photo for the captures.

Actually posting performance footage!
... two months later 😬
Did I pull some of my hair out (literally)? Yes.
Thanks for the pulls @bobby_fishnets, the space @cirquehaus, the shots @lipyanskiy_photo, and the footage... someone tell me who to tag 🫣

The raven circles
The wolf draws near
Yet still I rise
I do not fear
For every trial
Each witty scar
Has forged my soul
A burning star

The earth may shake
The seas may roar
But I march on
Forevermore

I swear this oath
Upon the stone
To walk the path
Though I stand alone
Through storm and fire
Through blood and flame
The wanderer walks
Unbound, untamed

I have been hunting for a way out of this armpit spin since I found the spin, and I finally found a way out!
Sequence needs polishing and more experiments, but I'm really excited about the fact that it could now be in an act 🥳

I walk alone
Where the shadows fall
Beneath the weight
Of an endless call
No heart, no crown
No hand to hold
Only the path
Both harsh and cold

The wind may break
The night may bite
But I'll not yield
Nor turn behind

I swear this oath
Upon the stone
To walk the path
Though I stand alone
Through storm and fire
Through blood and flame
The wanderer walks
Unbound, untamed

Another day, another weird trapeze flow.
I really enjoyed this slide to hip hang, even if I did slam my elbow into the bar.
