I went LIVE with LiveNOW from FOX 35 at the UCF vs. TCU tailgate today!! @livenowfox

What a surreal experience! I was able to reach an audience of 80.4K+ viewers by the end of the live stream. The best part is that I had no script. It was just me, the tailgate, and some amazing characters (including the FIRST Knightro and his wife who served on homecoming court 30 years ago!). God definitely led me to them out of the thousands of people there!

This side of journalism is FUNNNN! 😝 So grateful for this opportunity and excited for what’s next! 🖤💛 taken in University of Central Florida by @sannayatv

And that’s a wrap! 🎬 First ever story I pitched was brought to life!

I had the opportunity to pitch, shoot, write, and edit this entire package from start to finish.

This semester, I took an Electronic News Gathering course where I strengthened my skills in composition, interviewing, camera dynamics, and lighting techniques. I gained a deeper understanding of what it takes to truly build a story from beginning to end.

Grateful to have finished the course with a 99.9% and even more grateful for the growth along the way!

Excited to keep evolving in my journalism journey! 😁 taken in University of Central Florida by @sannayatv

A year ago today, I was blessed to receive the 2025 Calvin Hughes Scholarship from @nabjsouthflorida !

Fast forward to this weekend… I celebrated my little sister, @ayannahowardtv_, as she received the Rochelle Bridges Memorial Scholarship at NABJ’s Scholarship Award Ceremony!

This event was filled with networking, new connections, valuable advice, and reminders of what it takes to make it in this industry. Being surrounded by some of the best journalists in the field motivates me to keep learning, growing, and becoming the storyteller I know I’m meant to be! 🥹📰🩷 by @sannayatv

WELCOME TO ATLANTA!

During the NABJ Convention, I had the pleasure of welcoming thousands of journalists to the city and introducing them to some of Metro Atlanta’s favorite flavors.

And don’t worry! If you weren’t at the convention but find yourself in Atlanta, you can still check them out! taken in Atlanta, GA by @sannayatv

My first NABJ Convention is officially for the history books! 🥹 So grateful to have been part of the 2026 NABJ Student Multimedia Projects!

Within the week, I turned packages around daily, anchored a newscast, and was mentored by some of the best journalists in the field. I also met other student journalists who quickly became lifelong friends and made me feel like I belonged.

When I was selected, I doubted myself because I was one of the youngest in the program. But God reminded me that being in these rooms this early is truly a blessing!! This summer was stressful in many ways, but this experience reassured me that I found happiness in journalism.

Hope to see you in Houston next year!! 🫶🏾 taken in Atlanta, Georgia by @sannayatv

A moment to remember!

I had the opportunity to anchor a segment of the show during my internship at WKMG News 6 this summer.

I’m so grateful for the anchors who took the time to give me feedback and encourage me throughout this experience. taken in News 6 WKMG / ClickOrlando by @sannayatv
