POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

🦪 A new seafood shack by the sea—with deep Santa Monica roots.

For our September issue, we visit @westsideoysterclub, the latest venture from Santa Monica locals @santamonicagreg and @kimchiavocado , the family behind longtime Pier institution The Albright.

The restaurant has taken over the former Blue Plate Oyster space on Ocean Avenue, preserving its beloved coastal character while adding personal touches that pay homage to Santa Monica’s surf, skate and seaside history.

On the menu: East and West Coast oysters, lobster rolls, seafood towers, caviar (even to go!), key lime pie and sunset cocktails—all with an ocean view.

But at its heart, West Side Oyster Club is a story about family, community and carrying a local legacy forward.

Pick up our September issue or head to the link in bio to read the full story, “Local Catch.”

These Samohi students have dedicated so much of their time and effort to my campaign, and to getting out the vote up and down the ballot.
This is our future. Thank you for giving us all hope.

Tonight kids ranging from 8-17 years old volunteered doing phone banking for #gregmorena for City Council. I have never felt more hopeful than I did tonight watching these young activists. Thank you to ALL who helped with phone banking and canvassing. The future looks bright!

Today, September 11th will always be a day that is heavy in my heart. Take a moment today to honor those who lost their lives on 9/11.

Often my own children, as well as other kids I come across during the campaign ask, why are you running for City Council? The number 1 reason is represented in this picture...for our future voters. * * *
