Upcycled 22ct gold. The brief: big sparkly ring. We bounced ideas for a while (a year) and went with what is always the best of design methods the back of a receipt, which unlike CAD doesn’t have a carbon footprint. This was made by hand traditionally bashing 22ct gold using specially sourced white sapphires from Sri Lanka. Customer was delighted! If you want to either commission a piece of jewellery or want to learn how to make then swing into my messages. My workshop in Essex caters for both!

Bench time, not just screen time.

We think a supplier should know the craft, not just the catalogue.

So Beth spent time with Sappho Rocks learning the art of polishing, getting hands-on with the techniques and tools that take a piece from freshly worked to properly finished.

Every bit of bench knowledge we pick up changes how we specify, install and support the machines our trade customers rely on. This means more solutions that suit the workshop in front of us.

Beth's engraving samples box is looking better for it too.

A creative pre Christmas workshop with Emma. The crew made sterling silver pendants set with opal, emerald, and agates. A full day of soldering, setting, burnishing and polishing.

A great way to meet like minded people, and channel your inner creative with new skills.

Bookings now being taken for February.
