happy spineaversary to those who celebrate 😁

one year ago, this journey began — a journey of healing, growth, gratitude, and strength i didn’t fully understand i would need yet. what started as fear and uncertainty slowly became something softer: learning how to rest without guilt, how to listen to my body, and how to trust that healing doesn’t have to be linear. there were hard days i didn’t think I would get through, and moments where i felt -and still feel-completely out of control of my own body, but I was never alone in it. i am beyond grateful for the people who stood beside me, showed up for me, and carried me through the parts i couldn’t carry myself. looking back, i don’t just see recovery, i see resilience. i see patience. i see understanding. i see a version of me who kept going even when it was so hard to believe things would get better. one year later, i’m still healing, still learning, and still growing — but i am here, and i am grateful. here’s to loving my hardware and what it allows me to be capable of. by @sara_horrell
