I had the time of my life with you!
✨
It’s been a week from our Enchanted Taylor Swift Experience and it’s been a week of wanting to be right back in it! A friend asked me yesterday, “What’s the deal with the whole phenomenon over Taylor? I don’t understand it.” It was hard to answer in one quick thought… but I’ve been thinking about it ever since. Shaina and I talked about it, cause let’s be real it’s all we’ve been talking about for the last week (really the last year anyway during all this planning!)
Are You Ready For It?! Here’s what we’ve come up with…
✨ Taylor lets her fans into her world by writing so much of her personal life into her songs… we feel like we know her.
✨ She hides lyrics and little tidbits that only US know, and it feels like our secret language we can’t speak with anyone else.
✨ She pays attention to her fans and what they want, even the Sarah’s and Hannah’s.
✨ Her music has spanned so many different genres and no matter what she puts out there, her fans adore it all. Wherever you stray, I’ll follow.
✨She keeps her side of the street clean. No matter all the controversy she’s been in throughout her career, she stays true to herself and ALWAYS comes out on top.
✨ She’s the first musician to become a Billionaire without overly sexualizing herself and selling anything but her music. She’s The Man.
✨She’s a badass Business Woman, just like Leo in Saint-Tropez.
✨ She’s GENUINE & GRACIOUS & RELATABLE.
✨The Eras Tour is unlike any other concert that has ever existed… it’s an EXPERIENCE. This tour is bringing together multiple generations of fans and creating some magical existence that cannot be explained unless you are there to experience it. She makes the whole place shimmer. And once you’ve gone once… you want to do it all over again! Capture it, remember it.
✨ She’s a Mastermind.

Put aside perfection and you’ll get the most genuine photos of your family. Gone are the days of “smile at the camera” stiff photos… it’s not real life, so why should we try to freeze that in time?! Hey there! Most of you prob know me by now, but if ya don’t… I’m Sarah! Lover of all things art, coffee dates, books, interior design, my family, Taylor Swift, sushi, girls night, watching my kids play sports, thrifting, singing at the top of my lungs in the car, going to bed early, lake life, vacations with friends, cooking, taking long walks, crafts, wine (doing crafts while drinking wine…) just to name a few! 😝

Just want to give a little shoutout to LONGMONT! This (not so little!) town of ours is my favorite 💕
It’s come so far in “coolness” since we’ve moved here! We have such great people, awesome restaurants, sweet boutique shops, fun breweries, art everywhere, a diverse community, insane views and even though we just hit 100,000 people, we still have those small hometown vibes.

Taylor is always keeping me on my toes with her ideas and creativity! This was a blast… a feat in itself with those wings! @heyitstaylorj MADE THEM herself!! She’s hosting a Fantasy Gala on October 24th with everything from medieval inspired food to tarot readings by @baddgiirlbriibrii! Bringing Shanda‘s vision to life was truly a creative collaboration. She had a pretty specific vision for her photos and we worked together before the shoot back-and-forth with inspiration and ideas. I love collaborating on sessions like this with other creatives who are freaking badass! (Like this woman!) @okti.music by @sarah_hill

Last night was such an amazing game! Niwot played so hard and got a win over the undefeated Severance Varsity team! We’ve had five 0-0 ties this season so 2 goals in one game was just what all their fans needed to go absolutely nuts! Great win NIWOT!! taken in Niwot High School by @sarah_hill

What if the weather looks iffy for our session date???🌦️
Don’t worry too much about the weather just yet! We’ll keep an eye on the forecast as we get closer to your session. Colorado weather can change so quickly, so I usually wait until the day of—or even a few hours before—to make the final call. (We’ll def make the call before you’d have to get everyone ready!)

If it looks like we’re going to have heavy rain, thunderstorms, high winds, or anything that could make the session uncomfortable or unsafe, we’ll reschedule. But if it’s just cloudy or there’s a small chance of rain, we’ll usually still go for it! Sometimes those cloudy skies make for the prettiest photos.

I’ll keep an eye on things and let you know if I think we need to make a change. So no need to stress over the forecast—I’ve got you!

For this family session we got about halfway in and then waited out some rain in our car for about 15 minutes and then popped right back out again and got some great shots! by @sarah_hill

✨HOCO 2026✨

The kids didn’t get ready until after dark for the actual dance last weekend so we had a “re-do photo shoot” this weekend! And apparently next year they aren’t even planning on going to the dance, but still getting all dressed up for photos & dinner.

I guess that’s a thing, because I keep hearing other people saying that that’s what their kids are doing also. When did dances become so lame?! Ours were always so much fun back in high school! What do the schools need to be doing differently to get these kids to stay at the dance?! Anyone have schools that go all out and make it actually fun??

If you’re lucky enough to live in Longmont, you probably know this crew in some way or another! The Gafner’s are the most fun, boisterous, adventurous, energetic, generous, thoughtful, and rowdy bunch! Always down for a GREAT time and wonderful friends. I’m envious of their big family and their built in best friends with each other 💕💕 So glad we got you some updated fam pics before everyone goes off on their own adventures!
