@h_m_freiburg 9 years!?? It went so fast. How can we be 9 years married. Who knows where all that time went. I guess it went to building our little sweet life together. I love our life. I tell you that often. I am so lucky to have found you. Our time together has brought transformation (definitely on my end),a family unit I didn’t know was a real thing, a safe home, lots of loss, even more love, the deepest grief, and the most joyous days. You’re my best friend, the person I always wanna hang with and the person I want to rush home to. I’m with you till the end baby. Happy anniversary ❤️❤️

Blessed Mabon. Welcome the Autumn Equinox

There’s something about this time of year that always feels a little like magic. We find ourselves at the threshold of light and dark, gathering what this season has given us and slowly letting go of what has run its course.

The earth seems to know when it’s time to turn inward. The leaves begin to fall. The light gets softer. Everything starts pulling a little closer to the roots. we feel it too.

That craving for quiet. For less. For somewhere soft to land.

Not all becoming happens out in the light. Some of it, in my opinion, the most beautiful and profound happens in the dark. In the seasons when we grow quieter. When our roots stretch further beneath the surface. When we tend the small ember instead of asking it to become a fire.

There is power in going inward.

Nothing is disappearing, only gathering for what comes next.

We are kinda in that “in between time” here in the studio! After summer but before the holidays get going. It’s the perfect time for portrait sessions where you can create your own vibe! Loved getting creative with Megan on these portraits!
✨
Studio will not have a specialty set until Oct 17th when our holiday set will be live!

August 28, 1996

Within 24ish hours of meeting @hip_hop_array at @fordhamuniversity we were a couple. Inseparable, even if that meant hours of him being in the library because I was there to study.

By 2006, we had moved into our home in PA. Living with our dog Fiona and a *very advanced* @tj_scooter . Tom's *office* is in the basement and Thomas and I are doing the sahm thing with countless trips to the @philadelphiazoo, music classes and swimming.

2016, life is in full chaos mode as a family of 5. Joseph and @john.eb7 are 6 and Thomas is 11. Lexi has also joined us. Tom has left consulting, and moved fully to SIG and I'm still a SAHM. Yoga is in the picture and Tom and I take our first yoga retreat together to Sonoma.

Bringing us to 2026.
Thomas is in college and lives there. Joe and John are Juniors in HS and Lexi has been joined by 40. Tom's still at SIG and, after a brief return to teaching HS, I'm a yoga teacher. And while photos from 1996, and 2006 took a minute to get my hands on, 2016 and 2026 were easy. With the explosion of Facebook in 2006, just scroll to see what our life looks like now.

30 years of a life built together and we're just getting started. Tom, to many more years of this wild ride together. I love you 💕
