Celebrate with me! When we celebrate ourselves, we release dopamine and update our identity as someone who succeeds. Why walk when you could dance? Why follow a path when you could explore the terrain? Why just get things done when you could enjoy the process and make it your own? None of us has to do things the way other people do. I find the most exciting, most alive version of life happens when I bring my full energy to it, my curiosity, silliness, depth, quirks and all. 🌞 Happy spring equinox! This time period is a powerful portal to soak in sunlight and connect to the cycles of nature. At equinox, the rate of daylight change is at its peak, and our bodies are picking up on these shifts and signaling biological processes for the season ahead. This is also when the geometry between the earth and sun allows the sun’s magnetic field to maximally penetrate that of the earth’s. The primordial father is penetrating the primordial mother with his electric charge in a process called magnetic reconnection. The energy of spring is born. Ancient civilizations across the world built sacred sites aligned with the sun’s angle at equinox, holding this moment with deep reverence. It is also Rosh Hodesh Nissan, the first Hebrew month of the year, and the start of Aries season, the first sign of the zodiac. Rebirth is quite literally in the air. Your body already knows.
