ON COMMUNITY SINGING

Most people aren’t ‘bad’ singers.

They’ve been over-corrected, under-invited, and somewhere along the way, just told to stop. They pick up shyness and shame along with it.

Community singing fixes that — not by lowering the bar, but by removing the test entirely. The real invitation is a reframe: it’s less about how good you are, and more about how deeply you’re listening. How present you are. In some spaces, how deep in your prayer you are.

In a circle like these, something shifts. People soften and feel playful. They laugh. They risk a little more sound. Somewhere in that, they remember: singing belongs to me, too.

There’s also a place for refinement. For learning the craft. For going deeper into technique, artistry, and what your voice is actually capable of.

Both spaces matter, and both are what I love to share — for different reasons, toward the same thing: people coming home to their voice. ♥️

Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it🥹

Last year, I set the intention to attend a Joe Dispenza retreat before dates or locations even existed. At the time, it felt so far away, yet now it’s my reality✨

That’s the work.

Last week, I spent hours in meditation. Slowing down, going inward, and remembering that healing, transformation and creation all start within.

Our thoughts literally shape our reality. Not someday, but right now.

The way we think, feel and behave is constantly molding the life we experience. And when we learn to quiet the noise, we create space for something greater: healing, alignment and possibility.

I met some incredible souls, felt energy that’s hard to put into words and left with a deeper knowing👇🏻

Anything is possible when you change from within.

Still integrating. Still expanding. Leaning into the unknown, and everything it holds💖 #joedispenza

The secret of healing… is the spiral. 🌀

In Kabbalah, there are three realms of healing:
• Linear healing — self-motivation, engagement, knowing when to step forward
• Circular healing — allowing, receiving support and nurturing
• Spiral healing — the balanced, fluid integration of both the line (masculine) and the circle (feminine)

Like a Spiral Staircase, divine energy flows to us in two directions — from above to below, and from below to above.

Our Iyar ceremony drew down healing from above (Sefirot & the Divine Name) as well as below (Angelic forces, plants, sisterhood). We heard the rushing river below and the thunder above—intensifying our prayers. ⚡️⛈️

Our Moon Medicine circles weave together earth-based healing with deep Kabbalistic wisdom—creating a spiral path toward embodied wholeness.

We soaked up the healing in Iyar through song medicine with @elanatreestar, embodied meditation and plant healing, Malchut dance, community, and the loving-kindness of the earth. And of course, the Divine—because all healing originates in the sacred words:
“Ani Hashem Rofecha” — I am Divine, Your Healer.

In the month of Nissan, we gathered to awaken Miriam’s Medicine—
the path from bitterness to freedom.

Miriam, whose name means Sea of Bitterness, reminds us:
to taste true freedom, we must first be willing to taste the bitter.

Together, we entered the Sacred Circle—
calling in our ancestors and guides,
Breathing & moving with the letter Hei,
Tasting our heart-opening prayers through cacao and motherwort,
and letting our voices rise in authentic speech and song.
Kabbalah teaches that Circle Consciousness is the future of a free world—
feminine, present, rooted in wisdom that flows through each of us,
equally giving and receiving.
May we breathe the circle into our bones.
May we be ready to receive freedom.

🌳 Tu B’Shvat: The Rising of the Sap 🌳

In the heart of winter, beneath the surface, lifeforce stirs. Tu B’Shvat marks the unseen awakening—the sap rising, the nectar of life fluidly enlivening us . Like the breath at the bottom of the exhale, renewal begins in the unseen.

The Mishah simply says TuB’Shvat is the “Rosh Hashana of the Ilan/ The Tree” . What is the singular Tree we are celebrating?🌳

The one and only, Tree of Life! 🍇
The Tree of Life is a map into our consciousness, a blueprint for the cosmic universe, and an energetic pathway into our subtle body.
The Kabbalists saw TuB’Shvatat a time when G-d is a Tree and the Sap is divine light (Ohr Ein Sof) running down her branches.

If there’s one thing @untetheredmovement taught me, it’s the importance of PLAY and CURIOSITY.

And reflecting, I realize I do offer this in my embodied dance journeys. (See video from my women’s gathering last week.) Of course I offer this, because play is so inherent in my soul. Going forward I will intentionally invite more PLAY and CURIOSITY in my offerings. Through feeling safe in community, being held by Mother Nature, and approaching somatic work with play and curiosity, the TRANSMUTATION of grief, sadness, anger, and old emotions stuck in the body becomes A JOYFUL experience!!

Get ready because embodied dance is about to get even more silly, joyful, and potent.
