Biggest project I’ve ever worked on is finally out in the world (!!)

Introducing Dune: Bene Gesserit Tarot Deck & Guide, written by Minerva Siegel ( @author.minerva.siegel ) and illustrated by me 🪱🪐✨

That’s 78 original illustrations, plus card backs and the box cover. (feat. a few of my favorite cards above)

An absolute dream to work on :’) Sci-fi + Dune + tarot!! But genuinely, it couldn’t have happened without my agent Skye @roarartists . Forever grateful for the support, guidance, and everything in between!!♥️💫

Huge thanks, of course, to the teams at @insighteditions and Legendary for trusting me with this and being such great collaborators!

Available for preorder now

Edit: TYSM EVERYONE!!! 💖🫶🏼💫 by @sarierain

Received my copy of @uga_collegeofag ‘s 2026 Almanac that I was commissioned to illustrate the cover and four internal pages for yesterday!!

Major thank you to the team over at the Uni of Georgia’s College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences who were an absolute joy to work with. I don’t think there was a single part of the process where they weren’t ready to communicate their vision or flexibly adapt. Ty Katie & Maria 🌱🌻

As always, big thank you to my agent Skye at Roar Artists (@roarartists ) 🐯💚 for handling the details, deadlines, and all the back-and-forth so I could focus on illustrating!

It’s been nice drawing and painting and letting go of the ability to “undo” mistakes 🌱

This was hard to remember to do 😭😭😭 was it worth it? Idk by @sarierain

Enjoying having more space to dip back into painting :’). Pretty much everything I do nowadays is digital but it’s nice to physically draw when I can.

MEET THE ARTIST SERIES - SARAH RAIN - Welcome to the Roar Meet the Artist Series for 2026! 🩵

At the start of the year we sat down with our roster of artists and asked them a lot ( A LOT!) of questions and they were lovely enough to take the time to answer as many as they wanted so you the reader could get to know them and their practice better.

You can read the full interview on our website (link in linktree which can be found in our bio). Swipe to get to know Sarah! 💗

Manifesting (& working on) a friendship with our neighborhood crows 🐦‍⬛. Personal illustration~

That being said, turns out they’ll start dominating our bird bath if I keep making that my engagement point. Weighing to pros and cons of an all crow bird bath… by @sarierain

6 months since Dune: Bene Gesserit Tarot Deck and Guide dropped so as warned MORE CARDS!! 🗡️⏳

The lock in I had to do by the time I reached card number 50 was serious.

Attempt 1 of trying to illustrate a mother of pearl finish which was as hard as expected 😪. Featuring egg flower buddy + a Timelapse that cut off before the finish for some reason in procreate ⭐️

An invite illustration + design work for the fav @bexinteriorsnashville ✨💫

It’s wonderful watching your friends evolve and grow into new chapters of their craft. She wanted an invite that could encapsulate the playfulness of the night, and it was so magical!!!

ALSO—SO impressed by the work of @cookieinthekitchen !! A level of detail worth smuggling two home in my bag for Perry to see irl. :’)

An illustration for me 🌱🐚 and i remembered to export the sketch this time before diving in toooo.

Commission projects require me to be better at fleshing out the whole idea first but when I draw for myself, the sketch much more like this.
