@craftsakefest 2026 by @sakeassociation, @sawtellesake @yamasushimarketplace @storyboldly in Los Angeles happened on 9.6.2026.

I missed all the seminars on Friday 😭 except the dinner at @atilosangeles but thoroughly enjoyed meeting Women In Sake, and the wonderful warriors of sake representing the deepest of the passions in America the day of.

Lots of new imports, too!

For the longest time, I avoided scented things to study sake. I remember exchanging a diffuser gift from a friend, and feeling sad about it.

8 years ago I was prescribed aroma therapy from my chiropractor, and thought maybe that's what's been missing.

I've been searching for a scent I like since then. I almost didn't buy this, but the brewery daughter I was with laughed and said she thinks I've waited enough.

I also have a Sakura Gin aroma spritzer meant for smelling the aroma without drinking it.

International Sake Day! And Happy Birthday to Devin.

I don't know how you put up with me, but here we are.

You baited me with amazing sake and your beautiful cat.

I thank you for all your patience as I'm still getting used to living in LA.

That time when @sakerevolutionpod @johnpumanyc was in LA.

Mad respect for hitting @sakesecret @ototo.la and @jodo_sakebar in one night.

Deliciousness happened! Thank you Courtney, @sakewolf_la and Josh at Jodo Sake Bar. @tbsbeck we miss you, but I know you're coming next month for Long Beach Sake Day!

WE FORGOT TO GET OUR SAKE DAY BINGO CARDS at Ototo. 😫 I guess we're goin back soon. 😋

Super latergram, but I left Tippsy Sake, now Palate Project, end of last year. I learned so much the five and a half years I was there, and am grateful for all the opportunities it offered me.

Thank you Genki san and the team in LA, in San Diego, New Jersey, Hawaii, and Tokyo! Luckily still working in sake, which means we get to see each other from time to time. 😁

Photo is from Spirit of Japan Denver event, Sept 2025 by Sakura Foundation. Only three of us from Tippsy in the photo plus a bunch of others who supported it. I think it captures the good times we had. by @sasaboston

What a journey he's been through - and I can't believe this place is walking distance from where we live. Food, vibe, price, delicious drinks, smiles.

Everything I could ever ask for in a neighborhood bar. Tatami mo aruyo~
