May your New Year be full of love, light, joy, good health, rest, adventure, friendship, creativity, and all the wonderful blessings in life. 🥰💜🎉🎉✨✨✨ #artvsartist by @sashafitzgerald

Hello friends, happy October!! 🎃

I was inspired by @coffee_with_frida to draw a moth maiden (a prompt from the #mabsdrawlloweenclub art challenge). She’s really sketchy and I kinda love that look. I don’t know if I’ll participate in any other prompts as I’m behind on art anyway lol. Hope you’re having a creative start to Autumn!! 🍂

Good evening friends!!

So art challenges can really wear on me. So I needed a break, and made this art journal style spread in my sketchbook instead. I love how free I felt making it. I need to make more pages like this.

On another note, do you think I should make a new instagram account for my abstract art, or keep everything here?? I’d really appreciate your thoughts on this.

Hope you have a beautiful day, wherever you may be, on this beautiful planet of ours!! 💜☺️🌷✨

Hello friends!! Man oh man this illustration felt like it took a long time. This piece is for the Folktember art challenge. I use gouache, watercolour, watercolour pencil. The wishing well is a bit wonky, but I’m ok with it. Unfortunately the whole image doesn’t fit in this post, so I’ll post it to my stories. I hope you had a lovely weekend. Now I have to start on the Fire Serpent!! 🔥🐍

Hello friends!! A wonderful sculptor I shared in my stories a couple days ago inspired this character drawing. I loved the dark, ethereal vibe in their work. I also snatched the idea for a dark crescent moon on top of the head & suspended lanterns. I drew the whole thing from my head. I’d love to try sculpting my own fantasy dolls one day.

I imagined that this androgynous looking character is part of a magical witch species, and is head priestess of broken down, sacred ruins, covered in shadows.

Hope you all get up to something creative today!! 💜☺️🌼✨

Hello friends!! Thank you so much for the beautiful birthday wishes!! You sure know how to make a girl feel loved!! 🥰🥰🥰

Here’s a mixed media painting I did in my sketchbook. It was hard to draw the building correctly (I definitely made up some parts of it lol), but overall it was a ton of fun painting this scene.

The first photo gives you an idea of how I work. I have my old iPad out, so I can look at the reference photo & watch videos. My little ceramic gouache palette above my sketchbook, and my watercolour palette to my left side. I really need to tidy up my space tho, cause it’s looking messy now lol.

I hope you have a beautiful Tuesday & find time to create something!! ☺️💜🌷✨

Hello friends!! It’s my 40th birthday today!! Wooo!! 🥳 I love birthdays. There’s something so special about a day that’s all about celebrating YOU.

We had Indian take out for dinner, Oreo cheesecake for dessert, and I’m going to open my presents soon hehe!!

Thank you so much for being here and supporting me and my art, I appreciate you!!

The butterfly and red pencil were inspired by one of trashspaghettio’s pieces 💜
